My doctor just prescribed it for my acne but she didn't tell me anything about it. Will it dry out my face?

It's not extremely drying. In my experience, it's a mild but effective acne treatment. It works against the bacteria that causes pimples. It shouldn't be too drying; my doctor was about to prescribe me benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid, but changed it to clindamycin when I told her my skin is pretty sensitive and dry.

I was using benzoyl peroxide for the past 5 years and it dried out my face so bad, it did make my acne a lot better but now my skin built a tolerance against it so it didn't work anymore. I just don't want my face to be so dry anymore

Omg my doctor prescribe that to me and it didn't do no justice for me,, it actually broke me out even more, but hopefully it'll work on you, good luck..

My cousin had really bad acne and she was prescribed it. I got some too after I tried it. I never had bad acne but it works good an nice to have , doesn't dry out your skin that much. But who doesn't moisturize everyday anyways? Especially if u wear any cover ups
