well i wouldn't say because - it's everything about the quality-
in my opinion make up can't be too expensive,if the quality is fine
if you have good brushes even cheap make up can look expensive!

I absolutely love MAC but knowing that you can get it for less if your a "pro" is kinda off putting for me. But it all depends on your budget! If your wanting to spend less but get mac like quality I would recommend checking out www.starlooks.com LOVE their stuff.

Some things are overpriced and there are other brands that are more effective that work better and cost less. That is the same for alot of brands though. I'll be the first to admit, I spent ridiculous amounts of money on MAC, just because it was MAC.

I think that there are many brands that are more expensive. A MAC lipstick is $15 and a YSL lipstick is $34. A Dior shadow is $29 dollars and a Mac shadow is $14.

I think almost every cosmetic is going up in price, I think Mac is reasonable I usually ask for the shadow pallet that's a couple of dollars cheaper then buying the shadow that are out on the counter.

In comparison to some other brands in my stash...no. For someone on a tight budget it can be expensive. Though I do find that some things are overpriced yet offer zero in the quality department.
