Why is popping your pimples bad?

I've noticed people say to not pop your pimples but why is it bad? I thought you were suppose to?

Because it basically leaves an open wound tht cld b infected.it can also leave you with scars.I'm sure there's.more reasons lol.

Because of scarring. I alleys do it but I have some scars so I probably should.

A rupture (bleeding) causes skin damage which causes blemishes.

And yeah, true with infections. The possibility if getting it infected and in contact with germs and bacterias.

I don't break out often so when ever I do I pop them. But I use my toner to clean the area. It does leave a scar but I exfoliate every other day then it's gone after a week or two.

If I pop I'm for sure getting a scare. So I let nature take its course.
