My boss told me the other day she uses baby oil as shaving cream to prevent razor bumps?? Anyone ever heard this before...advice please.

I've heard of putting baby oil on after you shave because lotions usually have alcohols in them which causes red bumps. But baby oil is gentle and moisturizes without leaving those painful red bumps

Hmm haven't tried, but I have tried conditioner when I ran out of shaving cream or just didn't have it in the shower.

I've tried it before. It gunks up your razor horribly with one swipe. conditioner is better if you run out of shaving cream. or body wash.

I use shaving cream and put baby oil on after done and it works wonders! I used to get bad razor rash and started using barbasol with aloe and baby oil after, have not had a problem since.

I've heard of it. My sister tried it and her legs looked really red and irritated. I wouldn't try it if I were you...
