The best drugstore cream color I have found is maybelline color tattoo. I use it alone or as a base. I get oily eyelids and it stays on all day until I take it off without creasing. Very much like the Mac paint pots.

Urban decay primer potion- it makes your lids so pretty, you can go without shadow. And it makes your liner glide on.

You can also use a lighter color eyeshadow, like bare minerals or Mac and build on top of that. Works for me every time and my shadow lasts all day!!
