Try a heat protectant, or simply, do not wash your hair as much so the style lasts longer.

If it does get greasy, use a dry shampoo, there are also DIY dry shampoos.

Use deep conditioner and a hair mask/treatment every week or two weeks. Also try to not hold the hair in the straightener for a long time and don't close it super tight to where it's pulling on your scalp. I straighten my hair a lot but I also use hair masks and hair treatments. Doing so makes my hair hydrated, soft, silky, and un damaged. Hope this helps!
