I reckon firstly a good trim and do it every 6weeks to 2 months.I use kerastase Bain force shampoo and con, pricey but amazing stuff, gets your hair back into proper shape as some other cheaper products disguise the dryness for a while and when you stop using them your hair is back to damage central!A cheaper alternative also is Aussie 3 minute miracle, fantastic stuff for the price. Another trick I do is sleep with mayo in my hair, can be messy the first timebut worth it! Mayo has oils and proteins in it which is great for moisture for your hair, its saved me alot and my hair was cracking off from bleach.I also use Argan oil to style my hair when it's blow dryed and I mix sometimes with the mayo. Also heat protection spray if you don't use it already, kerastase do a beautiful one or if I'm broke I use tresemme protection spray. Finally you also need patience , it took ages for me but my hair is almost back in top shape, good luck!

Heat protectant. Organix makes a good cheap one. Macadamia Oil products revive the hell out of hair. The masque, which is dense and lasts a good 6 months, put so much moisture in my hair I thought I had virgin baby hair. Sulfate Free shampoo also helps for colored hair or not. It doesn't over trip the hair's natural oils. Oh, not washing your hair every day will also make a big difference.

Use a homemade hair mask. Coconut oil and egg. Warm up the coconut oil first so it turns into a liquid then add the egg. Another mask is egg, honey and olive oil. Heat the olive oil first then add the rest. Leave on hair for 45 minutes or how ever long you want then rinse out. Some days ill put it in my hair and then wrap my hair in a bun and wear it all day if im not doing anything special. Make sure to wash out good with WARM not cold not hot but WARM water.

Go salt free for a start and make protein loaded products, containing stuff like Argan Oil, Keratin, Cysteine, Coconut and even Olive Oil.
Stop straightening your hair every day too.
If you're committed to the straight look then use a Keratin or amino-based straightening product so you won't have to use your irons every day.
But to be honest, if your hair is so badly damaged maybe it's time to go natural...

First, trim as much of the damage as you can. Do a conditioning treatment once a week with coconut oil, almond oil or argan oil to moisturize your hair and make it healthy. Leave in the oil in with a shower cap over your head for about 30 minutes to 1 hour to let your hair absorb it. Sometimes it’s good to leave it overnight for extra moisture. I use an argan oil hair mask from pro naturals for repairing and moisturizing and it leaves my hair so soft and healthy, I totally recommend it.

I will always recommend Shea Butter for heat damaged hair. It worked miracles for me. I actually had to cut off half my hair because of how damaged it was, but I started using a product with Shea Butter (I forget the name lol) and it helped repair and bring moisture back. Maybe you can try looking for products with it, or just pure shea butter. :) I also recommend argan oil and coconut oil :)

Take Biotin! its a vitamin you can get at any drug store and will repair your hair from the root instead of trying to treat hair that's already dead!
