Shellac is a colored gel. Its basically the same thing youd get if you had a full set of nails put on with a gel over lay. Theres good and bad points about it. Its good if you want a tough nail and want the color to last. Its bad when you want it off. You have to go and get them taken off. I you just peel it off yourself- youll peel layers from your nails off. Thats bad making your natural nails week. Its preference. :)
