I got the MUFE HD foundation for Christmas but it broke me out so bad. So I'm on a hunt for a good coverage foundation that works with oily skin.

Use a BB cream and concealer. Foundation and oily skin don't mix well. You could also try Revlon Photoready for oily skin or just use a little bit of milk of magnesia under your foundation and witch hazel as your toner. Hope this helps.

I have super oily skin, acne and scars so this is what I found worked best: smashbox primers (whatever color is correcting for your skin), for day use I like a mineral foundation, the best one I have is Pürr you can reapply if it gets greasy and it won't look cakey. For liquid foundation I like revelon color stay and I set it with makeupforever setting powder (best product to make makeup stay!)

Ok this is going to sound weird, but I've used urban decays eyeshadow primer potion on my eyes for about a year because my eyeshadow would crease because I have such oily skin and at the end if the day, my eyeshadow still looked perfect. So about a week ago, I tried using it on my whole face as my primer and its the best decision I've ever made! Hahah. My face stays almost completely matte and shine free all day. I would try it with a powder foundation.

i would say the best solution would be to instead look for a primer that will protect your skin+skincare from your foundation.
i have oily skin that needs to be blotted almost every 2-3 hours :( i've found shiseido refining makeup primer (with spf 21) to be the most helpful! it has similar consistency and color to eye primers like too faced shadow insurance and UD primer potion. it keeps my skin matte even when i use a foundation that would normally be more "natural"/dewey-looking. i don't use much at all, and the tiny tint of color in the primer also helps to conceal some small marks. plus, you might save yourself buying a completely new foundation/getting rid of the one you already have!

I don't react to anything and don't suffer from spots but when I used the revlon colour stay it seemed to affect my skin and made it react so I had red patches and small blistery bumps around my nose and mouth and I noticed that at the end of the end when I went to the gym in the evening, when I sweated on my face it would be really itchy!! It also smelt quite perfumed! I have now been using estee Lauder double wear which is fantastic!! Full coverage and no topping up and my skin is absolutely fine!! Also comes in a big range of shades!!! Try it and you'll stay matt for ages!! Xxx

Omg! I just discovered Covergirl simplyageless foundation, the one in the pot! It is amazing! I have dry skin right now, but i think it would be great for all types! I may have to do a review on my beauty channel, graceandglamor! It's great!
