I have band competitions in a month, and i would love to do a winged liner, but i just dont know how to get a good wing. Do you have any good tips or suggestions?

First draw a thin line from your inner corner to the outer. Then make a "Chinese" eye with your finger and draw a line which goes over your outer corner ( depending on how long you want to have your wing) .
Then make you line thicker and thicker until you think it's okay and suits you best :)
Hope it helped :)

Make a line slanting upward on your outter corner, then do a regular line across your lashline, and connect those 2 lines and fill them in.

Dont pull on your eyelid. Its bad for your skin, can cause crows feet, and youll never get perfect wings that way because when it goes back in place, it wont look the same and the other eye will be uneven.

I take a tiny piece of scotch tape or hold a business card up to my eye and trace the edge of that! It works well for me.

imagine a line going from the outside corner of your eye, to about where your brow ends. That's the angle you're following. Stop the line where your crease ends or about the length of your eyelash, and fill in the wing. :)

Don't tug on your eyes. How I do mine is, look normally in the mirror and then go back and forth in between eyes drawing a line from the outside of your eye towards the end of brow in tiny strokes and stop whenever you feel the wing will be long enough. Once you've done that draw your eyeliner normally and then connect the top of the wing to the rest of your liner! Hope this helps! =] I use a felt tipped eye liner (revlon) because I find it the easiest.
