I have very yucky looking teeth. They are very yellowish/brownish and spotty and l hate them! It is not because my teeth are 'rotten' or something, and my dentist has told me that it is sort of a genetic-type thing, but l am tired of my teeth being gross and l'm tired of being bullied about them. what can l do to SAFELY whiten my teeth?!? Like, a lot?!

Okay, I have the same exact problem. Except the stains are on my two front teeth, my adult teeth grew in this way. I have been bullied and teased my whole life because of it. Its a hard thing to overcome, ive always had low self esteem because of it, and if you have the same thing i do its called Fluorosis, its where a child ingests too much fluoride while their adult teeth are forming causing white, bluish or even in severe cases brown spots on the teeth.
My dentist told me that while you can whiten the teeth at a clinic, its very hard to do so. He said that the best way to fix the teeth would be to either:
A.) get caps put over the teeth
B.) get the teeth removed and then replaced by veneers or dental implants
C.) get the teeth removed and get a bridge or partial put in.
He said that those are the only ways to guarantee a sparkly white smile . Ive looked into it and it can be very expensive so until I can afford it Ive just learned to accept the fact that my teeth arent perfect and I know that its nothing that I did wrong to them by not taking care of them its just something that happened, so my advice to you i to ignore the people who make fun of you, never give into the bullying, hold your chin high and if someone asks you about your teeth, like they do me, just tell them that its not something you can help and if they dont understand then maybe you dont need those people in your life anyway. Believe me itll make you feel so good to just say screw the haters and get on with your life. It will make you a stronger person.
So good luck to you and I hope that you can accept your beauty as well as your flaws :)

Whitening strips will not help, do not waste your money, seriously. Whitening strips are fpr whitening all the teeth, not for spots. The strips will whiten the white parts of the teeth as well as the dark spots, still leaving the dark spots darker than the rest of the teeth, besides those whitening strips destroy tooth enamel, so like i said don't waste your money, if anything go to the dentist and see if they can do a spot whitening.
