What is the best way to hide/ cover/ conceal large pores and oily skin?

Use a mattifying primer and a full coverage foundation and concealer. Urban decay makes a good one but of that's too pricey for you then neutrogena came out with a mattifying primer. I have not tried it yet but I hear good things.
