What you do is wet your face after cleansing, massage it in until the small granules dissolve, then rinse.

I need to try that dermologica exfoliator ... is that the rice based one? I hear great things about it. I have acne prone skin and I am trying to get an exfoliator to help just lather off the dead skin on the surface of my face!

Yes it is, contains rice extract, for all skin types, I use it because I also get blemishes and this leaves it clean and bright, gentle enough to use as often as you please :)
