can someone help me...how do i know what my undertones are? also ive also not grasped what my skin type is...i would say combination/oily skin because when i put make up on my face gets a bit (not too much) oily, but one time i went to mac just to try out foundation and they told me my skin was dry. now im confused. any ideas?

My skin is dry once i wash it or it gets tight but I only a little bit of lotion and it gets oily around my forehead
