Soooo, I have the little deluxe sample jar that you pick up while you're waiting in line at sephora. I really like the powder BUT if I take it anywhere with me it gets everywhere when I open it. It's so fine it takes forever to settle so I can open the jar and even then it's still kind of messy. So I was looking at UD deslick powder. I don't want to say they're similar just because they're both white but I would like to k ow if anyone has tried both to make a comparison. Or does anyone have the full size of the MUFE? Does the jar have one of those closures inside the pot to keep it from spilling into the container in your purse? Like bare minerals does for their loose powders. Or does anyone know of a more storage/travel friendly powder that is similar to MUFE?

I have the full sized jar, and it unfortunately get into the lid and puffs out everywhere in a little cloud when I first open it. I love it though!

I have the full-sized and I don't have too much of a problem with spillage.

go to coastalscents and buy a refillable jar with sifter....and you can buy their silica power spheres, it's a 100%silica powder with no filler powder, i bought a 1 oz jar 7 months ago and I still have a lot left; and yes, i've also tried the MUFE HD and i can't see any difference

The ELF HD powder is a dupe for the MUFE powder. I have both and honestly I prefer the ELF powder. It was only around $8 compared to the $50 I paid for my MUFE powder.. it works just as well if not better, and the container it comes in keeps it pretty mess free :] I highly suggest you try it out!

Sarah, I had the elf powder first and I personally didn't find it very comparable. Also, that one made more mess the the mufe does. At least that is what it seemed like to me.

This powder is one of the most misused products! It is not an oil blotting powder, it is a finishing powder only. Also, depending on your skin tone it can look lavender on the skin. If your looking for a oil blotting powder try Black Opals Blotting Powder. It looks great on all skin types and it is a staple in my kit and on film sets. In also like Dermablends Invisible Powder. Both work great with any foundation and skin tone.
