Lip scrub is awesome, but I always put Chapstick or lip conditioner underneath my lipstick

While your doing your makeup use a heavy or regular Chapstick and let it really sink in and moisturize your lips and apply a light Chapstick right before application or use a moisturizing lipstick. Also lip stains won't dry lips out as bad!

Put just a small amount of Chapstick (of your choice!) BEFORE applying the LipStick.

Use a Lip balm first and add lip gloss with the same shade

@Amanda B. You should exfoliate your lips to get rid of all the dead skin on so your lipstick doesn't fall into the cracks.

I exfoliate, apply carmex, wait until the carmex is majority dry then add my lipstick.

what I do when I apply any kind of lipstick:
1. exfoliate my lips with cinnamon mixed with Vaseline- use a soft bristle toothbrush only for your lips. don't scrub it hard tho cause u might rip off skin. instead, gently exfoliate. the spice from the cinnamon help plump lips and it doesn't absorb into the Vaseline so you can feel the powder work to exfoliate.
2. after I exfoliate I use a damp cotton ball and gently swipe off excess Vaseline
3. try a lip primer. a liquid foundation that dries matte can also work if u have zero primer. a little one the lips go a long way.
4. apply your lipstick then blot out the first layer with a tissue this leaves a stain from the first coat. lightly powder over that
5. Line your lips with a matching lip liner. I cannot stress how amazing a lip liner can emphasize your lips and keep the lipstick from bleeding. it defines and shapes them. but for extra color staying power, fill in your lips with the lip liner before applying your last coat.
6. after you have done all these steps apply the last coat. work it into your lips by smacking.
7. apply a clear coat of gloss but that's optional lol
these steps help, if not eliminate, to keep your lipstick from drying, chapping, & fading.
just refrain from unnecessary snacking and when drinking thru a straw , drink from the corners of ur mouth.
or you know, a moisturizing lip butter works too lol.

Remember to drink lots of water and eat your veggies! My lips have been naturally juicier since I've made a point to drink more water. :]

The simplest way to keep your lips supple and kissable is to use a clear gloss overtop the lipstick. To ensure full moistness, you can use chapstick as a base before applying the color

Always moisturiseyour lips before applying lipstick try using baby lips lip balm or pawpaw balm also I no this is wierd but try scrubbing your lips lightly with your tooth brush it gets rid of dry skin and plumps your lips also and try finding lipsticks that do not dry your lips try find ones that have a soft texture with ingredients such as alovera in them there more silky and moisturizing just try out swatches and find lipsticks that are very smooth if you live in Australia Australia has a collection of lipsticks that soften skin wich has alovera but if you can't find this brand just try different lipsticks out in the store
