how can I make my hair grow quicker?!

Had a pixie cut since I was about 15 (I'm 21 in a couple of months) and am trying to get my hair to a chic bob.
It's shortest length is currently at my ears, it sits just above the lobe.
Any tips on growing it or ways I can wear it? Have been wearing my topshop pork pie hat like a lot recently!
