I can't seem to really get my eye shadow right, I can't do Smokey eye or pretty much anything with my eye shadow. I always just seem to fail and it looks awful. How do you apply your eye shadow?

Make sure it's a good eye primer I usually do a lid color crease color and the outer v in the crease?
