Foundation gets splotchy! Please help :)

So ive been using the same foundation forever and all of a sudden its been getting really splotchy. Its so frustrating im wondering if its the dry whether. Any tips on how to fix it? I usually love my foundation and took me forever to find one i like I've tried putting lotion on first not sure what to do
