Does anyone have recommendations for a good cosmetology school? I have high hopes to become a makeup artist and need to start looking soon :)

It depends on where you are. Makeup Designory in NY or Burbank, Cosmix in Ft. Lauderdale, Cinema Makeup School in Hollywood, Complections International in Toronto, and Vancouver Film School in Vancouver BC are all highly regarded. I am sure there are others I am not thinking of at the moment as well

first stick with the basics. if your in a place like Ohio there is not really any work here. so map it out. choose a place (if your willing to travel or already in a good spot) that has a ton of upscale salons or maybe a place that frequently has models preparing in. keep those things in mind and set your goals highest. also choose somewhere that offers everything included. ie airbrush makeup hair nails skin etc
