Just make sure if you ever change it, that the hoop is the right size. I alway had studs and I finally found a hoop that wasn't too big. But it was too small. I didn't realize this until it was too late. It stretched the hole and it started to get infected so I took it out. :(

I personally think a hoop wouldn't look good with your nose shape, but a nice cute stud would :)

I've got earring up both lobes, tongue ring I've had for 16 years, and a couple back tats. Love each one. But my rule is that I never would do anything to my face. Now whether that's vanity or practicality, I can't really say. But so far so good ;)

Do it, but with a stud. It's less dramatic and also heals better as it's not passing through the piercing site again and again.
Whatever you do, make sure where you get it done knows their piercing stuff. If they suggest putting jewellery in the fresh piercing that isn't made of stainless steel, titanium or glass, GET OUT OF THERE AND NEVER GO BACK.
Keep plastic or acrylic jewellery away from your fresh piercing, and even once it's healed don't use plastic for long periods of time as its porous and over time will harbour bacteria which can't be washed out.
Do not clean the piercing with alcohol. It dries it out. Do twice daily sea salt soaks until it is completely healed (you can find out the correct amounts to use on any piercing site, and use sterilised or bought bottled water, not tap water).
Lastly, whatever jewellery you choose to pierce it with, you have to be happy with it. It's going to be there for a minimum of six weeks while it heals. Do not try to change it until after it has completely healed! You only risk infection and damage to the piercing site.
Post pics when it's done! :)
