Revlon Colorstay foundation. I tried it in combination/oily and normal/dry. Used various methods of application and it all looked terrible! My skin looks patchy, my pores look huge and it clings to every minuscule hair i have on my face. After all the hype, I'm pretty disappointed :( any tips to salvage my purchase? I cleanse, moisturize then prime. I generally use my fingers or a buff brush to apply, but I've tried everything. I feel like I'm missing some vital step to make this work.

I've used it for 5 years and have never had any problems. what primer do you use? I would suggest trying out a sponge, I break mine in half so the edge is a little rough and uneven so it goes into the skin better. I also use a sigma flat top kabuki brush and find those are the two best options. I hate the outcome of using just a normal foundation brush. I also lightly tap my whole face with my finger to 'push' it in more and remove excess foundation. I hope it helps:)
