Hi all, here is a picture of my nails (terribly brittle in the winter)
The cuticles are cracked a look awful, I have bought some oil for them and have been using this for a couple of weeks but it doesn't seem to have worked. Is it just the cold weather or is there something else I can do to help them? They make me feel very self conscious!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks :)

I can't see the photo, but I can imagine what they look like. I used to bite my nails and the cuticles are always worse when you bite the nails because the nails are weak. you should try to stop biting your nails for starters. you could try Burt's bees cuticle cream. and I would suggest pushing back your cuticles and true cuticle once - twice a week or getting regular manicures. try to apply cuticle oil/cream on your hands 3-4 times a day

I use Burt's bees lemon butter cuticle cream before bed. It's helped a lot, but I still have some dryness. I'm trying Sally Hansen cuticle oil on my toesies. The winter wreaks havoc on my skin :(

if you don't want to waste any money you can try just some olive oil because it doesn't have any chemicals in it, it might be better:)
