Beauty Product Reviews

Only primer I've ever finished.

This gives your skin the prettiest glow. I'm ordering my second bottle soon, I've never finished another full size primer product ever, probably because I'm still always reaching for this. I don't think it extends your foundations wear but it also has never shortened it or led to breaking down for me. It gives an ethereal healthy glow under foundation and is perfect for my normal to dry skin.

Surprisingly wearable.

I have the gold lava and being pretty pale I was afraid it wouldn't flatter me at all. It's actually very pretty and wearable. It's a little blinding but that's what I want in a highlighter and it's more flattering than you'd think on a lot of different skin tones.

Nice but a bit pricey for what it does.

I've enjoyed using this and it is such a fine mist but for as much as it costs compared to other setting sprays (Morphe, urban decay, etc) I guess I just expected more. It's a good setting spray but not necessarily better than products that cost a lot less. I say this with disappointment because I love hourglass and really wanted to love the setting spray. I'll finish it but I probably won't repurchase.

Not the best on my normal to dry skin.

This foundation seems ok but I couldn't recommend to anyone who's skin leans dry at all. I always fully moisturize and use primers (I have several of different types) and I struggle for this to even come out looking decent. One bonus though is that if I have time to let it set up I can get by without or with minimal powder.

Best water gel.

I use this as a layering moisturizer after my tret in the evenings. My skin is so much healthier and hydrated with this in my routine. This is my go to now, there's not a single product by anyone I would prefer in it's place.

Holy Grail foundation.

This foundation is absolute perfection. It goes on and wears so beautifully and is great for your skin. I'm a foundation junkie with tons of high and lower end and this is my top pick and has been for quite some time.
