Best for oily skin, limited shade/undertone range

I have combination oily skin, which gets SUPER oily this time of year. For this reason, I only use serums, a mattifying SPF moisturizer, and primer under makeup in the summer. I forgot to apply my mattifier while testing this, but that was a happy accident: This foundation is MATTE!! No need to set with powder and you do NOT want to apply this around the eyes. I have a LOT of textured acne scars. This covered most with one swipe. I went over my cheeks twice, as they have the most scarring. I wore this for 8 hours and it looked great until I removed it. I only saw the tiniest shine on my cheeks and nose after 4 hours or so. I accidentally rubbed my nose and chin throughout the day, and I could only tell close up (and even then, it was BARELY noticeable). I still have to try it over a luminous primer and a regular SPF moisturizer, to see how it performs. Downsides: 1. I'm sure I won't be able to use this in the colder months, as my skin dries out due to the indoor heating (this is NOT a dry skin-friendly finish). 2. Limited shades per undertone. I purchased shade FB-14, which is slightly too dark. It's fine for mid to late summer, but I won't be able to use this once my tan fades. There isn't a lighter "deep" shade w/ yellow or golden undertones that matches my skin.

Favorite crease brush

I wasn't sure that I would like this brush, since it is small and pointed. In general, I like my fluffy crease brushes. But this is excellent. I can easily pick up, apply, blend and layer multiple shadows in my crease and outer v area to create a soft and effortless daytime smoky eye. The point keeps the shadows from being too blown out, which is why I generally don't bother with smoky eyes for work. Now I want to wear smokey eyes on the daily! I plan to purchase at least 2 back ups as soon as funds allow. Also, it is extremely soft. I have remarkably sensitive skin around my eyes and I can't feel the hairs poke at all!

Exactly What I Was Looking For...

This brush is exquisitely soft. During the fall and winter holiday season, I like to focus on eye makeup and bold lips. I grew tired of pairing nude blushes, or skipping blush altogether, with these more dramatic looks. This brush allows me to sweep the softest hint of color on my cheeks to perfectly complete these looks. It works with all of today's pigmented products and bold colors. I have not tried it for highlighter, as I prefer a more precise brush. Also, this brush does an excellent job of picking up pressed powders (I have not tried it with the gelee type powders yet ). It wipes off easily after each use. Most importantly, it blends as you apply, and it does not disturb the makeup I have laid down already! I love this brush so much, I ordered a second! If my fude brush wish list was not so extensive, I would most certainly pick up a third. This will come in handy all year round.

Great brush, but tiny

This brush works SO well! It is TINY and takes awhile to blend base products in, so I prefer to apply and spread my foundation with my hands. Then, I use this brush for a final blend and the finish is just flawless! I have sensitive skin, although my facial skin is more forgiving than the skin around my eyes, in terms of the degree of softness needed. I find this brush comfortable on my face, although stippling motions aren't ideal due to the texture. At any rate, I LOVE IT. I want to purchase backups.. but there are SO many brushes on my wish list right now! I took off one star for the super small size.
