Not impressed

I looove chikuhodo. I have all of the Z-series and am building my GSN series. This brush did not impress me. I don't like the way it applies liquid, cream, or powder foundation. It doesn't even clean well... sorry Chikuhodo but this was a waste of money 😓

Great brush, but tiny

This brush works SO well! It is TINY and takes awhile to blend base products in, so I prefer to apply and spread my foundation with my hands. Then, I use this brush for a final blend and the finish is just flawless! I have sensitive skin, although my facial skin is more forgiving than the skin around my eyes, in terms of the degree of softness needed. I find this brush comfortable on my face, although stippling motions aren't ideal due to the texture. At any rate, I LOVE IT. I want to purchase backups.. but there are SO many brushes on my wish list right now! I took off one star for the super small size.

I really did not like this brush. A very big regret. I have cheaper brushes that do an awesome job. This brush is rough and feels prickly. Really dissatisfied. Sorry I really was hoping to love this brush .

This brush is quite dense and stiff which may not be for everyone however it doesn't soak up product and gives a good finish.

A bit stiff

Buffing out my foundation quite nicely, especially for foundation sticks. But it's not feeling comfortable, a bit stiff. And since it's the kind of a brush that you will need to work the product in so it hurts sometimes.... Good size for travelling, though.

So worth it! I've been waiting for a company to make brushes using ag tafre material and I'm so excited that chikuhodo has done so. You get the durability of synthetic fiber and the ability to grab product like natural hair. It blends liquid foundation beautifully. If you want Luxury feel for everyday use this line is for you. (Let's face as much as I love the way brushes natural hair perform I definitely worry about washing then too often especially foundation brushes.)
