Beauty Product Reviews

Couldn't love it more!

I had heard TONS of great feedback on this product and was dying to get my hands on some! I originally checked Sephora (for some reason I thought it was a really high end product, perhaps because of all the beauty gurus) but was sadly disappointed when they didn't have it. But not long ago I was at Walmart checking out and Taa Daa! There it was! I purchased the Sweet Mint (I believe that's the name) and am IN LOVE. I also had my mother buy one for herself ;) Often with lip balm I feel it wears away quite quickly, but I had this on for two hours and in the shower I was surprised to still feel the moisturizing balm on my lips! I love the scent and it doesn't have a bad taste, it reminds me of my CO Bigelow Apothecaries Mentha Lip Shine in No. 1122. (Is so good my boyfriend loves to kiss it off!) Which I have loved since I was in my younger middle school years. Was always a bit sad that it wasn't quite moisturizing enough for me :/ But SO happy I found a lip balm that I can wear underneath or just on it's own. It has a nice soothing yet tiny tingle feel once you apply. I've always loved mint beauty products but most are either overpowering or just down right icky. The packaging is by far super unique. I like that it twists as opposed to just popping off for extra security in your hand bag or makeup drawer. The rounded design of the actual balm makes it much easier to apply then regular chapstick as you can turn and rotate to cover smaller sections (the corners of your mouth) as well as larger without that messy cleanup around the edges. All in all I strongly suggest this to anyone and everyone! Even for the icky smokers like myself who also hate the taste of water, therefor need hydration every other way they can find.

Great for everything BUT your inner rims!

I have the two pencils from the UD <3 NY palette. Which I believe is Zero and Ransom. I was so excited to get these pencils because I heard tons about them. Unfortunately, I don't see the "waterproof" part of their description come in play. It moves off to the outer corner of my eye (making my whole look, look a mess!) and settle in my inner tear duct. After about half-to an hour of applying. But I do love to use them as a base for my shadows.

As far as the inner rims go? I stick to gel liner.
