Beauty Product Reviews

Light to medium coverage, NO powdery finish!

For a mid-afternoon touch up to take the grease away without looking like you just dusted your face with baby powder, this product is perfect. It offers light-medium coverage so it's best to seal in whatever concealer/foundation/tinted moisturizer you've used. I think it would work really well for men too, that's how non-makeup-y it looks. I sometimes dab on a little concealer on top of the powder and it keep it from sliding around at all. All in all, strong product and it is fairly well priced too!

The best concealer ever, if pricey...

Of all makeup related areas, I am most keen on faking flawless skin. For anyone over 25, this require a damn good concealer and this baby is it! It is admittedly uber-pricey (~$70 a tube, thus the half-star dock), but I will gladly pay for the magic it delivers. It is light enough to blend well with just a few taps, yet covers all my imperfections (red around nose, dark hollows under eyes, redness around zits badly popped, etc.). I don't know how, but it does and it does it so well. I can always feel confident in putting my best face forward with this around.

This is the best!

I've used it all, and this baby is the bestest. I am a shameless label whore and usually buy elite department store brands, but this is a keeper. I usually get the waterproof one and it provides cover-every-eyelash, truly smudge-proof, va-va-voom eyes at drugstore prices. The next best comparable would be DiorShow or MAC, but I always come back to this one and carry one in my home makeup case and purse makeup bag.

"paste" is right

Good coverage, but so heavy! it took so much tapping to blend the product in, I'm not sure it's worth it. I keep going back to the mother of all concealers, Cle de Peau, even though it's $70 a tube. It cuts out everything in a light weight manner.

Youthflow glow (not greasy shine)

I love that this product doesn't budge. It seems from the reviews that most people use it to highlight the browbones, but I actually do that with a lighter shade of eye shadow and use this product to add a glow to my cheekbones. I am Asian and it works well with my skin tone, though I imagine it would work well with all skin colors.
