Beauty Product Reviews

Amazing

Ok, I have so, so many brushes that I put off getting Sonia G brushes for a long time. But I can honestly say this is my favorite crease brush I’ve ever used. I have Suqqu, Tom Ford, Wayne Goss, all the nice ones and this is just the best. I’m obsessed!

Very floppy and hard to control

I really didn’t like this brush, yes it’s soft and beautiful but it’s hard to use. The bristles are very floppy and therefore hard to control application. I’m returning it and will purchase another Wayne Goss brush. I love his brushes but this one was a fail for me.

Favorite lip balm ever

I think this is my 5th purchase of this stuff, it's amazing. I live in a very dry, arid climate and my lips get chapped a lot. This is the only lip balm that makes my lips smooth and hydrated. Even my son asks for it. Love this product so much!!

Lovely for oily hair; not so good for dry hair

I initially bought this shampoo for myself, but my hair is dry and this shampoo seemed to make it even more dry. It had that London edgy look which I think looks nice, but I prefer more soft curls. (I have curly hair). I gave it to my husband on a whim since he has oily hair and WOW does this stuff make his hair look incredible! His hair isn't near as oily, and it looks more healthy and has more volume. I highly recommend it if you have oily hair, maybe stay away from it if you have a very dry scalp like myself. Oh and the smell is lovely. My husband uses a 1.7ml bottle every 3 months or so, so it lasts pretty well. Which is good considering the price!!

Awesome stuff

I love this balm, its really odd in texture, almost grainy. But its the only thing that keeps my lips from chapping. I have no idea whats in here or how it does it, but I love this stuff. It works. And thats really all I care about!

So refreshing!

I absolutely love this stuff, its incredible. It smells amazing, I used it throughout my pregnancy to refresh my skin and as a mini spa treatment after cleansing. The bottle is lovely, I've used it up already but I've kept the bottle and decanted some of my leftover Indie Lee Co-Q10 toner (also amazing). I will repurchase this, but get the bigger 100ml size next time. Only downside is the price really, but it lasted long enough to be worth it. :)

Really nice!

If you want to look like you dripped your cheekbones in molten Platinum then this is your highlighter. I tend to sheer it out because its so intense! I was eager to try the Pressed formulation, I have the SSP in Moonstone in liquid form and its also beautiful just more of a golden tone than silver. I tend to like a more subtle look when it comes to highlighters but its easily sheered out, so whatever your fancy this product is lovely!

The smell is INCREDIBLE

Oh my god...so I got this with my Lucky Bag and I kid you not, I was sniffing this thing every half an hour the first day. It smells exactly like Strawberry Dacquiri's. Yum. I used it the other day for the first time and it works soooo much better than my Fresh Sugar Scrub and it's edible so I had to taste...and it tastes as good as it smells. The scrub was also quite moisturizing on my lips and I didn't have to scrub them as often as I do normally. The quality is excellent and the price is so reasonable especially for how much product you get! Can't say enough great things about this product!

Not worth the price

Although the concealer is really nice quality and does conceal the majority of the blue discoloration under my eyes, for the price I expect a bit more. The delivery mechanism for the eye cream and the concealer is really poorly designed. You have to click for ages because nothing comes out, and then when it does its a huge blob that is more than you need so you end up wasting product. It reminds me of the Ellis Faas click pens which are horrible! Also the amount of product you get is really small compared to her regular retoucher concealer (which is a better product and cheaper in my opinion!). The Retoucher is $35 for 3.5ml and the Miracle Eye Wand is $45 for 3ml (if divided equally then thats only 1.5ml of concealer for $10 more...). Really not good value for money and I love my cheap Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer so much more!! If you want a CT Concealer, go for the Retoucher, its much nicer and cheaper and you get more product. Disappointed with this one to say the least.

Great Matte Palette

Wow since when did Beautylish start carrying Viseart? Awesome! Anyway, I bought the Neutral Matte palette off Sephora, it was constantly out of stock and I scooped it up one time when it was available. I was a bit nervous at the price but its so worth it! I have used it almost everyday since I bought it. The different warm and cool-toned shades make it perfect for any skin tone, and its easy to mix and match the colors to achieve the desired shade. I really love it. If you like mattes, you should pick this one up.
