UNDERRATED BRUSH
I am mind blown with how amazing this brush is. Essentially, I purchased one to use with my Chanel cream bronzer. It picks up the product so beautifully, blends , buffs and just melts into the skin. If you have sensitivity, it will not break you out or irritate the skin. This brush is so amazing. I purchased an additional one. I’ve actually used with cream stick foundations and liquid foundations and WOW. Personally, I wouldn’t use this with a BB cream or a skin tint since those are already on the sheer side but if you have anything with medium to full coverage, it will give you a nice even thin layer and you could build up. I don’t have anything like it. There is a few synthetics that are very similar but this brush is so soft. It’s a dream. I will be purchasing serval more. Also, this washes and dries so easily! I have it next to the Chanel blender in photo.
Forgive me Sonia
I am a big fan of the "candle" dome brushes and this one really caught my attention and I knew I had to pickup. Upon using this brush I did wash it and let it dry for it out for it to bloom. The despriction says dense from the base and airy on top, mine is not. It is as stiff as a wall paint brush. (I have even gently washed 4 separate times to see if it would soften) With bronzer it is a very unique shape and when it can't diffuse it simply won't work. I find this brush extremely dry & scratchy therefore I can not use with setting powder especially on my sensitive skin. Ive attached another fude and dare I say a synthetic brush that is the same vibe yet better performance. Visual its beautiful but useless to me.
PERFECT DIFFUSER!
1. This handle is absolutely beautiful the pictures don't do it justice with the glitter ombre!
While a lot of people like this brush with blushes I find more use out of it with loose powders/glowy bronzers. I actually use on the top perimeter of my cheek bones, jawline and temples on top of my bronzer to blend and soften my whole look with either Sisley or HOURGLASS baked formulas. Definitely need a few for backup. 10 out 10.
WOW
I pretty much have every highlight brush CHIKUHODO has made and I reach for this one quite often. Extremely soft and flexible. Great for travel or thrown in a pouch in my bag. This was my first purchase from the passion series and I am extremely impressed.
Slight coverage and is NOT sticky. I've used with a lipstick and on its own and stunning each way. Will be purchasing other shades.
BEST BLENDER HANDS DOWN
This defuses my contour shade on my eyelid and works extremely well softening my nose contour. CHIKUHODO just does it so well.
THE HONEST TRUTH
While this brush is extremely beautiful and highly reviewed I was extremely disappointed after. For starters I am one of those " you can never have enough brushes " people so I spare no expense with it comes to fude. After seeing all the reviews on this pared with bronzer/powder I decided to pull the plug and buy. I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and it did not break me out however it picks up SO MUCH product. Even when I try and use the small side before I attempt to diffuse. Almost impossible to buff due to its large size and I thought after a few washes it would open and soften up. I was wrong. Ive attached serval of my other brushes with a similar shape and vibe. I don't think I can use for powder or blush due to density so I will end up gifting to my sister or a friend.
Tiny but mighty
Initially I purchased this to be a highlighting brush but it was a little too tough of my pressed products for me, I ended up using it to set my under eye and WOW. A little on the dense side upon feel but yet extremely soft. With loose powder it's a dream. I find when I use with anything pressed other than hourglass finishing powders it tends to break them (C.T Airbrush Finish Setting) w/ The Givenchy powder it is PERFECT. Contemplating on getting serval for backup.
