Like Peacock Feathers on My Eyes

I combined Plumage (teal blue/green), L'Artiste (grey-black with silver shimmer), and Casablanca (orange gold) for my dinner/night look. I was so pleased that the pigmentation was intense. Maybe 3 dabs of the eyeshadow brush and my eyelids were nearly opaque with color.

Plumage - a teal blue/green that looks like peacock feathers. Sometimes it looks dark green, other times vivid sapphire blue. Intense pigmentation. My favorite of the set I made.

L'Artiste - dark grey (almost black) with silver shimmer. A welcome change for your normal black smoky eyeshadow. The silver shimmer is a welcome change of pace. Needed a bit more work to get opaque, like 1 more dab with the eyeshadow brush. Not the most unique shade.

Casablanca - warm gold. Great for your waterline, your tear duct, or any place you want a golden pop. It is very sheer but buildable.

Dance the Night Away

I got Boogie Nights as part of the Lit package deal from Beautylish. I gave the glitter its true test: a wild night out in Las Vegas. I followed the instructions for the Lit adhesive and put Boogie Nights on my eyebrows.

Lit Glitters as a whole: No fallout! I have never experienced that with glitter. I lined the outer corners of my eyes with Lit glitter. Again no fallout and my eyes weren't irritated. I never thought the glitters would come off with simple makeup remover but almost all of it did. I did a follow-up with face wash and water to get those last glitter bits off my eyebrows.

Boogie Nights as a color is fantastic. My brown-black eyebrows would flash lilac, baby blue, white, and sometimes light green with certain angles of the light. Cool glitter colors that didn't make me look frosty.

No Lasers

I saw this tube at the Inglot counter and got this color on an impulse buy. Frickin' LASERS on my lips! Sounds like the perfect party gloss to have in my clutch. On my lips I didn't get frickin' LASERS like I wanted. They were, shall we say, slight hints of lasers? My lighting did show a tiny bit of the hologram effect, but it wasn't the intensity found in the tube. Boo, no lasers.

Eventually I decided to keep this gloss. The formula is juicy and doesn't suck out moisture. My lips feel full and juicy without looking lacquered. Still kissable. The sunlight would sometimes show off a faint hologram or rainbow.

C'mon Inglot. I want frickin' LASERS.

Wonder Primer

I use this pencil in Milk to give my sheer eye shadows life. Milk will also make your drugstore eyeshadow colors look like they're from a more expensive brand. It is true, this will make your bright colored eye shadows intense. Oh yes, it will make those shades notorious for fallout and finer glitters stay put.

The formula will crease if you apply too much. Try 2-3 swipes and then buff it out with a brush (or pat with your fingers if you're in a hurry).

The Name Says It All It's Perfect

Finally a pencil that is perfect. If you want to spend a little more money for the best eyeliner on the market you have found it.

Going on feels like butter on my eyes. I can pencil my lines without having to tug my eyelids or hurt the delicate muscles around the eyes. No skipping or grittiness that I would feel in other pencils.

The formula does take a few minutes to set, which gives you time to correct your mistakes for a clean line, or flip the pencil around to the rubber end and smudge everything to a smoky eye look. But once the pencil sets good luck trying to get it off! I have go on a few nights with dinner, partying, and late night munchies wearing this as my eyeliner. My liner never budged. My stamina ran out before my Too Faced eyeliner did.

Black Orchid is a very dark purple. Maybe a few shades above black. Certain angles of light really bring out the purple. The color is unexpected and I love it. My go-to when I'm tired of black eyeliner.

If I'm tired of dark eyeliners in general I switch it up with Peacock, a teal blue that is my favorite color. I don't wear this too often because most of my wardrobe is teal. The teal really brings out my brown eyes. The color is so intense I would keep my other features neutral (sheer lipgloss, light bronzer on my cheeks) to balance out my look.

Good things in small packages

The shape and design of this mirror takes me back to when my grandma would get her makeup done in her vanity. She always had that big mirror, but she also had a hand mirror like this one for detailing.

The mirror is normal, no magnification. You know how hard it is to find a regular mirror that doesn't warp your face? Thankfully this is a plain mirror with no gimmicks. The mirror size roughly would fit your palm. It is lightweight. The velvet bag is a really nice touch. You clean your mirror and simultaneously feel like an old Hollywood movie star while removing it from the bag.

The grip is a tad small for me, but I have ham fingers. I rest my index finger on the back of the mirror to improve my grip and steady the mirror's balance on my hand.

This mirror makes me feel dainty while I double check my eyeshadow is properly blended and doesn't look crazy.

Great Product and Easy to Find!

Ever since I bought a ball (can't say tube) of EOS lip balm I have never looked back. The formula isn't waxy on your lip and actually moisturizes. There is a hint of flavor on your lips that tastes great. The round shape means more product for the money. I'm still trying to finish my first one and I use that at least once daily. I get about 3 hours on my lips. It seems to fade to become part of your lips as it moisturizes. The best part is the unique shape (somewhere between an egg and a ball) makes it easy to forage for it in your bag, your drawer, or other dark areas where you put tiny beauty products.

Matte Without the Powder

This is the holy grail for me. I've been trying to find a product that would:

1. Control my crazy T-zone (combination skin go!) 2. Moisturize my skin, especially my desert dry cheeks 3. Make me look matte during the day even if I forget to use blotting paper 4. Minimize the giant pores on my forehead

One of the sales associates at Skinfood recommended this product to me. The sake is supposed to help balance the oils in your skin while the silica fills in your pores. From the look on my face she could tell I wasn't believing her pitch. She gave me about three days worth of samples to try at home. Sure enough I came back the following day with a NEED to buy two bottles. A miracle in a bottle! This serum lasted almost all day at work (office environment). This also saves me from buying blotting papers in bulk. Thank you, makeup deities, for blessing me with this wonderful product.

I would recommend putting this on after you wash your face for maximum effect.
