Beauty Product Reviews

This shade looks like it would only suit pale and cool skintones, but it suits mine perfectly. I got it in a Clinique travel palette and decided to buy it. For me, the Iced Lotus shade is really unique and I haven't found another brand that would have this shade. A little amount on a blush brush goes a really long way. Application is very easy, since the product picked up is never too much, neither too little. The downside is the shape. It is set in a rectangle that is easy to use with the little applicator brush provided, but not with a "real" blush brush. It is a bit on the pricey end though, but truly of great value.

I have this pen in 250 Emerald Sparkle, waterproof version. It also has a smudger and a sharpener at the other end. First, it is extremely pigmented! No need to reapply. As for it being waterproof, I wear it all day long and at the end of the day, it has only slightly moved a bit. The color is gorgeous, and as the name says, it does sparkle, but it is suitable for day wear. I don't really like it as an eyeshadow, but it is truly great for defining the lower lash line.

Great if used with a translucent powder

I have olive skin but the medium shade was too dark for me, so I went with the light one which suits me perfectly. My first take on this product was that it was too greasy, but a tiny amount well distributed does the trick. The coverage is medium, giving a natural look while fading out imperfections instead of completely covering them. The formula is very light and hasn't caused any breakouts. It also really minimizes the way pores look. It has also made my skin feel a bit softer after two weeks. The only setback would be the "dewy" finish, which looks like I'm sweating on a summer day. The trick is to apply the BB cream, let dry, then apply translucent powder all over, which mattifies. It gives a flawless glow that looks very natural. I also love the smell.

I have "Meet Me at Coral Island" and it easily lasts 4 days chip-free. It dries out fast and the brush is awesome, applying thin coats and covering most of the nail in one take.

The 5 shades are all gorgeous, but the best are 030 and 040, which are two declinations of rose. The best way to apply this is by wetting your lips, removing dead skin, and applying when your lips are dry. Then finish off by applying lipbalm, Vaseline or lipstick when the lipstain is dry. On me, it lasts between 3 or 4 hours. The taste is very sugary, mostly cherry-like. It is truly great for everyday use.

Great but dries out fast

This goes on top of any nail polish to make it completely matte. The finish result is great over any nail polish (even shimmery and glittery ones). It doesn't take too long to dry, unlike other matte top coats, but you must move your hands at all when it's drying. The only con is after a approx. one month, the product which is initially completely transparent turns a shade of cloudy yellow and becomes a bit goopy. Other than that, it will last a few more times. It really has great value for its' price.
