Beauty Product Reviews

The only expensive palette that truly pays off!

This palette was purchased months after I bought the Alice in Wonderland book of shadows. While Alice didn't knock my socks off, coincidentally my "naked" palette did! I have had it over a year and even using it everyday I still haven't hit pan. Love every shadow and I've created countless different looks. I love Virgin for highlighting, Naked and Buck for lid area shadow or blending, and Darkhorse and Creep for lining.

If I had to choose one gloss...

Lip products are my favorite, and my obsession with gloss began when I found Amber by Buxom! It is the perfect everyday color, but can be layered over countless lipsticks to add plump and shine! Great cooling and moisturizing effects! Needless to say I own way to many now...

Like adding another (perfect) second skin!

Subtitle sounds weird, but what I mean is this stuff actually covers and airbrushes your face and hides imperfections without the cake, flake, or heavy feeling. If you have small imperfections, like zits, broken capillaries, or pigmentation please give this a try! By try I mean you can get a generous sample at Sephora, enough to last weeks. Try applying it with clean fingers from the back of your hand!

Timeless Red...

All my mac lipsticks are great, but if your looking for a classic, sexy, pin-up-esc lip, look no further than Ruby Woo. It stays on forever, and with a matching red liner makes your pout look as good as marilyn!

Crush is a fluorescent fuchsia

Awesome application, great color pay-off, and pretty long wearing. The corners and other small areas did fade with 1-2 hours of wear, but for the most part left a bright tint.

Golden glow with coral/peach undertones

This blush is amazing for lighter to medium complexions. It gives you that "just worked-out" flush, plush a golden highlight to the cheeks. For me, however, it isn't as pigmented as some of Nars other blush.
