Beauty Product Reviews

Dark on the outside, Sweet on the inside

Recently a client sent me this as a thank you and was utterly surprised by the light, sweet undertones of honey drops and apricot, that reverberate with every pulse.

The bottle is designed with an art-deco edge that gives the scent a backstory of mystery and allure, while the black liquid that sprays on clear, is sensual and sexy.

The only downside, is that it doesn't last as long as I'd like, something common with Coty products. Luckily I've got a small backup that came with the set.

After using this, I've bought two more bottles to give as gifts, love it!

No thanks!

The only time you'd get a Billionaire Boyfriend with this perfume, is if he was paying for you for the night.

The smell is far too musky and cheap. The amber and sandlewoud are dated and overpowering, not fresh and not worth the cost.

Perfect for every skin type!

When I received this, I was unsure as some Tarte products can be hit and miss, however, this is an exceptional tool for every make-up bag!

The clay base keeps oil at bay for very oily skin and leaves a soft natural finish. Also, because I have tan skin, I was worried it would leave me pale...never happened. It sets beautifully and you need very little to make or last.

This is my new favorite finishing powder and plan to recommend it to my clients and friends.

A little goes a LONG way!

As a master aesthetician, this is my go-to for days I want a glow to remember.

When washing my face daily, I use Dermalogica Microfoliant, then the Thermofoliant about twice a week. Because the salicylic acid in the thermofoliant can be taxing on my oily sensitive skin, this product works in lieu to give my skin a break.

Using a very small amount I apply a pea size to my cheeks and then two small dots to both forehead and chin. After I massage in a circular motion for about two minutes.

The wash off is clean, not over oily and results are immediate. Again, very little is needed!!

Reccomed this for all skin types. Never been disappointed with Laura Mercier and love evey item ever used.

Static overload!

Because my hair is coarse, I need a shampoo that's hydrating in the winter months...or just in general. So I look for ingredients like, Hydrolyzed collagen and Tricetylmonium chloride to reduce the static and to make my hair easier to manage. Since I received a luxury sample; tried for three days and it did nothing except cause an electrical charge.
