good brush
I received this from Beautylish to replace a scratchy Wayne Goss brush of similar shape. First off, I hate the look of this brush, but that's just a personal preference. The handle is quite long, and it tapers at the end, which I'm not thrilled with. Looks aside (which, as I said is just personal preference), I LOVE the way it preforms! It picks up my shimmer shadow and packs it on the way I hoped my other brush would. Its very soft and preforms well. The bristles are starting to splay out a bit, which I've never had happen before in my other brushes, and this brush is just a month old, and for that I've deducted a star... if I could I would make it 4.5 stars.
Love it
This pencil brush replaced my sigma which after a few months became too scratchy for my eyes. I love it. It is incredibly soft. Since watching Wayne's video on how he uses this brush to place the crease and outer v colours I have started using this for that and it works amazingly. I tend to use the 05 now for applying colour to the lower lash line and smudging out, but this works wonderfully to smudge as well. I did find that when I used this to apply colour it was almost too big and I ended up with a more raccoon look than smoky, so I don't use it for that anymore. I've had this for a year, it still is just as soft as the day I bought it. In the pic I included the sigma E30 (white) then the Wayne Goss 20 followed by the Wayne Goss 05, for size comparison, especially between the 05 and 20 to help you decide which size is best for you... But I love them both!
scratchy, but gets the job done
I, like a few others, have had an issue with the scratchiness of this brush. While I love my other brushes, this one just isn't my fav. I hate how it can feel like tiny needles stabbing my eyelids. It packs on the colour wonderfully, and I love how it preforms, I just wish it wasn't so scratchy. It's the only one of Wayne's brushes that I seriously wished for a while I could return. I've owned it for over a year now, and I use it daily, but it isn't up to par with the rest of his brushes.
Amazing
I bought this to add a second blending brush like the sigma E25. I just thought it would be nice to have a second. Well. I was disappointed when I saw the brush. Gorgeous. But the shape wasn't what I was expecting. It was flatter than my e25. But, I was determined to try it out a couple times. And after trying it once I'm in love! It blends far better than the E25 and is so soft. There is absolutely no pulling on the skin, just a gentle blending that produces amazing results. Who knows. Maybe I need a second 06 and the e25 can go to a friend!
