Beauty Product Reviews

Heavy

I’ve had this clip for a long time now and tried to wear it a couple of times but it is too heavy for fine hair. It is very well made and sturdy but it is for thicker hair because it will slip right out of your hair if it is fine or thin. Like I said, it is quite heavy and just would not stay in my hair. I eventually gave up on trying to use it. I gave it 3 stars because it isn’t for everyone’s hair type. Thick hair will love it if you don’t mind the heavy weight.

Big palette

I like this bronzer but have to be careful with it because it is very pigmented and on my light skin can look crazy. I usually only use the top two colors because the bottom is for contouring and it is a flat matte. I like shimmer in my bronzer so I mix the two upper colors. You really get a lot of product which it should last awhile. I would like this to be made with only the two top colors as I can’t utilize the whole palette. Glad the price wasn’t too high so I don’t feel bad about not using all of it. This would be great for darker complexions. I do recommend if you need to or like to Contour when you bronze.

Meh

This brush is beautiful, very well made but not good for what it is intended. It is too soft and fluffy to be an effective bronzer brush. It will only pick up product from a bronzer that is very powdery (loose) and doesn’t deposit well because of its softness. More like a finishing brush to me. If it were more dense and stronger, I could see it being good for bronzer but it just isn’t. It is a very beautiful well made brush, but for loose powders. Unless you want to dip several times in your bronzer to get good coverage then this brush is for you, but it didn’t work for me. I use it for my loose finishing powders.

Don’t love

I guess I’m definitely in the minority here but these brushes did not impress me for 270$. I would rather buy Sonya’s brushes as singles because the only one I would use in this set is the large angled brush. I just wasn’t impressed with the others. Also, very expensive to come with no case or brush roll to keep them protected. A few of the brushes were not even packed well, the fan brush and eyeshadow brush were bent and misshapen. I can’t justify the price for brushes I’m not in love with. I’m going to send back and get Sonya’s brushes as singles and hopefully this set will be sold as singles so I can purchase the large angled brush.

Unbelievable!

These are the first WG brushes I have purchased that I truly think are fantastic quality and their synthetic. They look and feel like natural hair. They are very sturdy, well cut brushes that are so soft , it’s hard to believe they are not real hair. You could be fooled if you didn’t know they were synthetic. Each brush is so perfectly sculpted, I am thrilled to have them. A must buy for anyone who uses synthetic hair brushes.

Very nice

So I RARELY spend this kind of money on makeup brushes but this brush looked very well made so I had to have it. It is a nice brush but in my opinion too small to be an all over shadow brush. I do use it but wish it were bigger like my Sigma E50 brush but with this high end quality. I plan on getting all the brushes since they are so nice but maybe if Sonia makes another set, she will have a bigger all over shadow brush.

Don’t care for it

I am not impressed with this brush at all. Way too soft and flimsy to really use it for anything. Very light powder application is what I use it for when I do use it, but I have other brushes for the same use that are much much better and less expensive. I bought a few brushes from Sonia G. and her brushes blow Wayne Goss brushes out of the water. Hers are at least worth the money. No more WG for me, just don’t care for his brushes.

Really soft but sheds to high heaven!

This brush really is the softest brush I have ever used. It is a small brush so if you like bigger brushes such as face powder brushes, you won't like this one. I rarely contour so I don't use it for that. I used it for light blush application for highly pigmented blushes and I used it for all over powder. I like it best for lightly powdering the face because I tend to be heavy handed and this helps me with control. Again, it is not a large brush and not heavily dense which is what I wanted but if that is what you want, pass this brush up because you will be disappointed. The reason I gave three stars is because it does shed, all over. I have to pick black hairs off my face everytime I use it which is a real pain. If it didn't shed I would rate it better especially for 35 dollars and it being a designer brush. If WG fixes the shedding issue it will be worth the money but I would not repurchase it for that reason because this brush cannot afford to loose hairs. So if you don't mind the small size and picking hairs off your face when applying powder go for it as it really is the softest brush out there.

32$ junk!

This is the most expensive and worst mascara I have ever purchased. Drug store mascara beats this by miles. The brush shape is nice, makes the eyelashes voluminous, and smudges all over your eyelids giving you raccoon eyes. I tried it with and without primer and it was awe-full! This will get returned as I am not throwing away 32$! Thankfully my travel sized Benefit mascara saved my eyelashes after this smudged away, at work. Cannot recommend this useless mascara.

Love it!

I love this brow product so much and regret not purchasing it sooner. It is very pigmented and cafe' matched my hair/skin tone perfectly. I also like the pink highlighter also, looks good on my brow bones. Highly recommend such a fine product for brows.
