i love these brushes! like every other reviewer has said, they are insanely soft. i especially love the mini kabuki brush - it's great for applying a really thin, sheer layer of powder. i had a powder foundation that was just a smidgen too dark for me, and when i used it with the brush it came with, it always came out caked-on and orange looking. with the ecotools brush i can get a much thinner layer of makeup and it looks much more natural! saved me from having to buy a new foundation!

pretty good drugstore mascara

i would say this is one of the better buys in terms of drugstore mascara. i have naturally long, dark lashes so this makes them really dramatic, but it doesn't get too clumpy. i haven't had any major problems with flaking. it's easy to layer up to get your desired look. my one complaint is that i bought the water-resistant kind, and it doesn't seem to be water resistant at all. so if you're looking for a super water resistant longwear mascara, i wouldn't recommend this, but i like it as an inexpensive everyday mascara.

this stuff is seriously amazing!

i absolutely love this. a little bit goes a long way with this stuff. you can actually feel it absorbing oil as you put it on! i don't use it on my whole face, just the spots that get shiny, which for me is my t-zone and under my eyes. you really only need a tiny bit. since it's been so hot out, i've just been wearing this to get rid of shine with no foundation on top. it doesn't completely get rid of shine, but a little bit of powder over it is all you need for a matte look.
