Beauty Product Reviews

so pretty, blendability is questionable

A little trickier to work with seeing as any attempt to blend and smooth out this product once on the eyes results in large chunks of the silvery glitter to surface.

Formula wise it is easy to apply, and doesn't drag. Incredible staying power, as promised.

I find it is gorgeous to use as a base, or as a inner corner highlight for evening. To use as a base, I apply with minimal blending to the edge using a small not too dense brush.

finally an eyeshadow I love on myself!

I have been on quite a long no eye makeup stretch however Amber Haze may very well have gotten me out of this rut! Gorgeous for brown eyes, as it claims. A good all rounder on set for a natural but elevated bronzed eye.

Shimmery but not overbearing and simply gorgeous.

perfect for a speedy smoky eye

pros: - a good long-wearing formula that actually lasts - convenient pencil packagin - easy to use, smooth and soft but doesn't crumble - gentle on the waterline

cons: - reads more blue-black as opposed to true black - I find it difficult to use on top of any eye makeup previously laid down, best used first

gorgeous and glossy, but if you want long-wear this is not for you

I bought this product already expecting that it wouldn't wear for very long. If this doesn't bother you, then it is perfect for that lived-in rock n roll eye. I will use this lots for editorial and for days when I don't care if my eye makeup gets a little ruined.

Pros: A great sooty brown-black shade. Smooth and feels nourishing. Sizeable amount of product. Cons: small glass jar so will get add weight in your kit, not long-wearing.

universally flattering, top quality formula

I am so keen to buy the rest of the Rock n Kohl pencils from CT. Veruschka Mink is a perfectly universally flattering hue to really boost the last line, smudges to perfection and lasts and lasts and lasts. A kit must-have, I will be soon stocking up!
