Makes cutting my toenails a breeze

I have stubborn toenails. As much as I'd like to wish it into existence, I know my toes and they are not cutesy little toes. Can't have everything I guess. Anyways, my big ol' feet and thick toenails love this clipper! Before getting my toes (get it? toes, hands) on this I used to dread cutting my toenails because they're so unruly and they just do their own thing. It's safe to say my feet didn't like me before this clipper. But the comfort grip and sharpness of this clipper makes cutting my big ol' long toe nails a breeze. I was brought into this world with big, wide, unsightly feet and I will leave with them. They get me where I'm going and I am grateful for every adventure they've taken me on. I'm glad I get to treat my toe nails to some tlc with this boujie toe nail clipper. Thumbs up.

Pigmented and smooth

I tried Skinny Dip out initially and it was way too light for my NC44 complexion. It made me look like I dunked my lips in white powder donuts and that was not cute at all. So I gave it another try. I picked up Firecracker and I'm happy I did because it gave me the opportunity to try out the product and get past the initial impressions. Firecracker is this lovely rosy shade that looks like Nikkietutorials natural lip color. There's also SPF 30 which is nice because many tinted lip balms don't go that high.

Love Firecracker and will be keeping this for sure. Skinny Dip I recommend for much lighter complexions and there are a few other shades I've got my eye on. I'm curious to try this under lip gloss and I have a feeling it will work out quite nice! As for the formula, not much to say there. It's traditional lip balm and I enjoy it a lot. Thanks Coola, this is a nice one!

Very smoothing but wish it came in a larger size

I've been using this for a while now and I thoroughly enjoy it. One drawback is that I have thick, long hair and the combo of the two means I fly through this product because the bottle is pretty small- well, at least small for my needs but you do get a good amount.

When applying this product, I always start at the ends and I do not use it when my hair is dry, I prefer adding products when my hair is wet so it goes hand in hand with my regular routine. I will use both hands and rub the product down my hair. This gives the ultimate smoothing results and keeps my frizz calm for a good day or so. The smell is very mild but still nice and feminine.

Lovely product, just wish it was larger. Hopefully they will come out with a bigger size.

Smoothing shampoo

I had the pleasure of using this little guy on my hair this morning and I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I usually use the Karinga Collection by Rene Furterer which is made for textured, coily hair. After finding the Karinga Collection I was certain that there was no other shampoo I would love more. Side note--conditioner is a different story, it just is! But I went on a limb and tried this Keratin shampoo hoping it would at least be a runner up to the Karinga Shampoo. It most certainly is! This shampoo is nicely smoothing and gets to a pretty nice lather without stripping the hair because remember, there's no sulfate or silicone. Thoroughly impressed. When I washed it out my hair felt lush. That's the only word I can use to describe it.

One caveat I had, and I won't take away a star because I could've probably been more patient, was the lid's open/close mechanism. You have to press on the thick gold part and that will release the lid open. Pretty simple once you get the hang of it but a bit frustrating if you're not aware or use to it. Haha! Good job with this one Rene Furterer. I'm a believer.

My new go-to!

Used this for the first time this morning and I am head over heels in love! The texture of this conditioner is quite unique. It is thick and far from traditional conditioner. This thickness of it sort of throws me off because it is also very lightweight and airy and it spreads onto the hair like butter! I left this masque on for about 15 minutes then washed it off and my hair felt smooth and silky.

Because I have dry hair, I need all the moisture I can get. I follow the Deva Curl hair wash method and I do not towel dry my hair half the time. I will squeeze excess water out very gently and immediately follow with my styling products. In this case my styling product was the Oribe Styling Butter Curl Enhancing Crème and I don't know if it's because they're made for each other or I'm just having an excellent hair day because the two combined gives me heart emoji eyes all day long.

After my hair dries I will usually braid it because it can get so large and in charge and today I decided to leave it down because the curls look fabulous and they are the least bit frizzy. So well made!

Locks out humidity and frizz!

Writing this review after only my first use because I am so excited! I have zero frizz and I cannot believe it.

I'm very used to products getting eaten up by my unruly hair and this product held it's ground without bugging! I tried this with the new Moisture & Control Deep Treatment Masque also and the two together are a dream come true. Many products either way my curls down or look good while wet then completely disappear throughout the day. I also struggle with products making my hair feel so heavy and yucky from all the build up. But nope, not this one. I patiently waited all day for my hair to get frizzy and amplified which it usually does always and it certainly did not. I don't know if I have this product to blame for the successful good hair day or the Moisture & Control Deep Treatment Masque but it's one of them and I'll definitely be writing a review on both. :)

Smooth (NOT gritty) L-Ascorbic powder!!!

I can't get enough of Good Molecules. Just finished my bottle of Squalane Oil and I need to place a new order for another one ASAP, but that's another story. Let's get down to business. L-Ascorbic Powder. Actually, let me rephrase that--SMOOTH L-Ascorbic Powder.

I'm all about L-Ascorbic and Vitamin C in general just takes to my skin so well. I have hereditary discoloration as well as acne scarring and hyperpigmentation. My skin's all over the place. Whenever I consistently use Vitamin C in my skincare regimen, my skin thanks me and discoloration always disappears. But I often run into a dilemma. My skin is severely sensitive and dry and there are not many skincare brands I can indulge in because of this. So here I am, stuck with this problem. Dark spots and discoloration but sensitive to pretty much everything.

Now let's take it back to about a year ago. I tried a Vitamin C powder from a different skincare brand and it tore my skin up. The consistency of that powder was so unnecessarily abrasive and not at all friendly to compromised skin. Feeling down and defeated after just one use, I simply came to the resolution that maybe L-Ascorbic powder is just not for me. Then Good Molecules comes out with the Vitamin C Booster Powder and I am interested...Still skeptical, but interested. So I give it a try. When I tell you this powder is smooth and forgiving for dry, sensitive skin, I absolutely mean it. I have no idea how they did it but I'm glad somebody is in the lab taking notes and looking out for the sensitive skin beauties out there. This powder is so effortless to use. There is a tiny scoop included so I can accurately measure my usage and the jar is mighty large so I don't foresee this running out anytime soon. It's also in a dark tinted jar which protects my precious gold and I appreciate that a lot.

The only way I can some this up is a simple but powerful ingredient/product that has been executed perfectly.

adds intense shine to my locks!

I used about five pumps of this on my hair immediately after showering and it held up very well. I don't towel dry my hair, I'll usually use a cotton t-shirt or I let it air dry completely but the main thing I always do to lock in moisture is apply styling products immediately after getting out of the shower. I find that this method holds moisture in my dry hair much better and with the hot summer coming up I can't afford for my hair to get any drier. I tried that method with this and five pumps of product and it did not disappoint. The cream was very lightweight, non sticky and provided a shiny, healthy gloss-like finish to my hair.

I enjoy this product whenever I use it. One thing I did not enjoy however was the scent. It smells like sunscreen, there's no other way to describe it. After applying it, the smell quickly goes away but just some food for thought.

All in all I would recommend because the high shine finish is out of this world.

3b/3c hair type approved!

Conditioners that are nourishing and hydrating usually weigh my hair down because they are simply too heavy. I expected this one to do the same but surprisingly enough, it did not.

My tresses are very long and unruly and living with 3b/3c hair is not always the easiest. I enjoy when my hair is light and fluffy but at the same time my hair eats up so much product that by the time it's properly hydrated I am left with a whole bottle of conditioner that has been added to keep it hydrated and feeling good. Exaggerating but also true to an extent. But when I used this mask it was the exact opposite. I grabbed a healthy serving in my palm and smoothed it throughout my hair, beginning at the ends and working my way up. Even as it was doing its magic on my hair I did not feel weighed down. I felt lightweight and hydrated and sure enough when I washed the mask away that same feeling stuck with me. So amazing and highly recommend!

I would also say this doesn't have a sent and it does not feel sticky like traditional conditioner. Nope. It feels like a light cream. Pretty neat product.

lightweight hydration for dry hair

I have insanely dry hair and it's something that I have come to terms with. Not that I don't try to hydrate my hair or that I want dry tresses, it just comes with the territory of being a beautiful, biracial queen. I have been loving the Karinga line from Rene Furterer because it is made for more coily and/or coarse hair types.

This shampoo is impressive (smells pretty great also)! I use lots of product in my hair to keep it tamed and lovely and this nourishing shampoo cleaned my scalp without stripping my hair. One thing I did take notice to was that my bottle wasn't completely filled but it was actually identical to the level that the photo shows. I have pretty long and thick hair but two quarter-size amounts in my palms did me well. Impressed I got a clean scalp with the first wash and didn't have to use a second helping of shampoo for that clean feeling.

I like this shampoo a lot. Giving 4/5 stars rather than 5 because I wish the shampoo was filled a tad bit more in the container. But other than that t'was well.
