Perfect in every way!!

Viseart has done it again! Once again Anastasia V. Sparrow takes my coins by giving me this breathtaking creation. It’s like she read my mind and thought of Alexis while she whipped this baby up in the lab! Here’s what I love most about the Rosé Edit:

Colors: There are some shades in the Grande Pro 2 that I just dream about but can’t bring myself to part ways with my money for such a large palette. Including some shades from the core palettes is genius. I want to tell Anastasia in person that she is the real MVP! Of course, quality is never compromised in anything that Viseart puts their name on and this is not an exception.

Size: Please don’t think you’re getting a full size Viseart palette here. Nope. You’re getting an Edit and it is wonderful if you’re new to the world of Viseart. Raise your hand if you’ve gone through a full palette before. Yeah, me neither. The Rosé Edit is small and mighty. This is about the size of my palm. I’m not sure if my palms are large or small because in my mind they’re simply gorgeous so that’s the only way I measure them. But anyways, yes. It’s a tiny little palette but it is a wonderful mix of Viseart’s most jaw-dropping shades.

I must say, the Warm Edit did not catch my eye. I have a ton of warm tones in my arsenal so maybe that’s why. Rosé Edit for the win!!

So handy to have!

I use these for a number of reasons but there are mainly two. I use benzoyl peroxide as a spot treatment for my breakouts and I don't like to get the cream on parts of my skin that aren't experiencing the breakout. These buds are so precise it's impossible to apply anything in the wrong place if you're using a precise hand. My second use for these buds sounds a bit gross but we're all human so who cares: eye gunk. I get eye gunk usually in the corners of my eyes and I also wear makeup daily. Keeping these little guys in my purse is so useful because when I feel the eye gunk building up I can just grab one and it's taken care of, that easy!

I couldn't decide between these or the other small buds that MyKitCo offers and I'm happy with these!

Wonderful intro to fude

If you've ever been curious about fude or you want to begin somewhere but feel overwhelmed, I strongly recommend this set. You get a combination of several hair types: Water Badger, Weasel Hair, Grey Squirrel/Fitch, Pine Squirrel, Grey Squirrel, and Saikoho. That alone makes this set so much worth every penny. Trying the different bristle types and getting more acquainted with the variations will really benefit you long term in your fude journey.

My personal favorite from this set is actually the Eyeshadow brush. It is a combo of squirrel and weasel and before discovering this I never experienced weasel hair before. What a great combo because the slight stiffness of weasel combined with the forgiving squirrel hair makes this brush a dream to work with.

If you're already a die hard fude collector or a beginner, this is essential and so underrated.

GORGEOUS

My goodness! I wasn't expecting this from Cover FX at all. This is a powder blush duo that's everything but powdery. When I swatched the powder shade I was so surprised, it is a creamy powder that blends like a dream! It is ultra-pigmented and honestly the powder blush of my dreams. As for the highlighting side, that is also quite lovely and pleasantly wonderful to work with. I came to rave about the powder side and something really important to note about the highlighting portion is that is has no chunky glitter whatsoever. It is so fine and soft. I have milia around my eyes and some on the cheekbones. The highlighting side didn't accentuate any texture. Now back to the powder side..... please proceed with caution because a very little goes a long way and I learned that the hard way.

Packaging: The packaging is quite luxe and not like the standard Cover FX packaging that they usually have. It is a matte off white shade and it's raised with a good amount of weight to it so it doesn't look or feel cheap. There's no clasp or closing type of mechanism and because it is nicely weighted, it's really not needed. I appreciate that they didn't include any closing mechanism because it makes it a lot more luxe in my opinions.

Can't wait to get a few more blush duos!

More baby pink than I was expecting but still pretty nice

I picked out this shade because I thought it was going to be a perfect cross between a deeper burgundy and a pink mauve. I was totally wrong. Nope. This is definitely a true baby pink shade but the more I wear it the less I mind it. I usually don't go for anything baby pink because I like either neutrals, deep pinks or mauves. This one caught me by surprise because the moment I took it out the package I was thinking, "Aw man!!" but I gave it a try and it's very flattering on me. I guess you never really know what you're gonna like until you try it!!

It has a sweet scent that I can't describe and the scent fades away within about 1-2 minutes of wearing it. I kept trying to smell my upper lip to figure out what the scent was but I couldn't put my finger on it.

I prefer the refills of everything from Kjaer Weis and I love that the brand gives that option. I personally don't mind paying a bit less and getting the product itself. I guess you can say bubble gum pink is my new color, haha! In the photo, don't mind my lovely stache growing on my upper lip. It happens to the best of us. :)

Amazing for cream products

Ok, when I was shopping for a stippling brush I came into a big issue--they're not popular anymore so companies don't really produce them like they used to! So here I am, worried I will never find a stippling brush. Then a friend told me to try the Rae Morris brush 23 and I was interested once I saw the shape. So I went ahead and gave it a shot and the application is superb for my cream blush and bronzer. Never using another brush again and for a very good reason.

This is made very well and while I have never tried the original version of this brush, I am pretty impressed that a stippling brush can be made so well. It did not leave streaks on my face but I do see how it could with liquid products. I use this for bronzer/contour cream products and I use circular motions to buff product into my skin.

Side note--also extremely easy to clean since it's 1) synthetic and 2) has a tapered finish

Sundown Deep was too rich for me and I should've went with Dusk Medium

Let me start by saying that this bronzer is so pigmented and a little goes a long way! Sadly enough, I picked the wrong shade. :( I got Sundown Deep and it is far too deep for my MAC NC44 complexion. I should've went with Dusk Medium. The shade Sundown Deep pulls far too red on me and would look absolutely gorgeous on anyone with a darker complexion but it looked like I contoured with a blush and I was disappointed.

The reason I'm not giving this product a lower rating is because the formula is outstanding. It is buttery smooth and as I mentioned before, it is super pigmented. Now that I think about it...I tried the darker end going toward the middle (right side) and that is what looked red on me. I am going to try the lighter end and it should be softer so there's that. Always a light at the end of the tunnel, right? I really do like this bronzer, just wish I would've gone with Dusk Medium.

Such a deal!!

Just wanted to stop by here and say that this is probably one of the best deals I have come across so far. If you were to buy all three of these products individually it would be about $25 more and once I realized that I was sold! The Atlantis collection is deeply hydrating for my dry hair and I've never tried the Styling Creme but when I saw this set I was like *screaming emoji face* because I basically get the Styling Creme for free AND still get a deal on the shampoo and conditioner that I already know and love. Highly recommend and the pouch it comes in is pretty cute also. It reminds me of super edgy New York vibes and I keep my coupons in there now, hahaha!

Just get it because it's so worth it and such a steal!!

STUNNING on caramel/chocolate skin

Wow!!! This gives you a highlight out of this world! I've tried Charlotter's powder highlighters before but I've never tried this one and omg it is to die for. It's like Charlotte's Gold Bar Gold and it is so amazing and truly one of a kind.

Application: A little goes a long way with this. It stays put where you apply it and it does not move product around underneath makeup which is huge for me. I prefer dabbing the product onto my mixing palette rather than applying it directly to my face. Once I dab it onto the mixing palette I will usually use a Beauty Blender or stippling brush to pick up product and apply to the high points of my cheeks.

Probably what I love most is that if you blend it down from intense to moderate highlight, it does not look glittery. It keeps that same gold sheen and I love, love, love that! I'm very interested in trying the Peachgasm for a blush topper and I'm happy I found this product.

Perfect if you're new to Glycolic Acid

I am a lover of all things Glycolic Acid! If you're not familiar with what that is, it is essentially one of the strongest acids and it brightens and exfoliates the top layer of the skin. I have tried glycolic acid in the ~20% range and I experience heavy peeling from the first layer of my skin which is attributed to the intense exfoliation. With this product I did not get the heavy peeling effect which I appreciate because I can use it every night and the strength of glycol is not too strong that it will be abrasive to the skin.

Very much enjoy this product for brightening. Consider this a nightly brightening gentle exfoliant. Also, if you don't like fragrance, I wouldn't go with this. All of Caudalie's products contain a fragrance and this is no exception however it is much more mild compared to a lot of their other products.

If you're thinking about getting a Glycolic Acid peel, I recommend trying this first because the results a lovely!
