My most favourite shade ever!

I've only recently gotten into JS Velour, but now I own about 15 already! I was hesitant when getting this shade as it's very bold, but after the first wear, it is my favourite colour of them all. It's bold but totally wearable, especially with simple eyes. It's much warmer than his other purples which makes it more flattering. It also doesn't make my teeth look yellow, which I really appreciate. It is a little thicker than some of the other formulas, but not difficult to use. I pair it with the OCC Hoochie pencil just to help make the edge super sharp.

The BOMB!

This glitter base is awesome! It keeps all the glitter and cake eyeliner all in place. The only down side is that you have to work quickly as it dries quickly and can give a patchy application as it starts to dry. I found if I mix in less glitter (compared to the LIT water soluble), it didn't dry quite so quickly which helped with the patchiness. Removal is much easier with an oil based makeup remover. Still - absolute winner! :oD

Colour is beautiful, but there was some edge crumbling.

This shade is amazing! It's very opaque when it goes on and completely dries down to a full matt finish. That being said though, it it thicker and feels stiff when dried and did crumble a little at the end of the day. I do prefer the JS formula.

Love it!

Although the mini eye blended it almost too small, these 3 blenders are great! I love that I can use one for my face, then have a clean blender at the ready for concealer. Great to have the cleaner as I clean each blender after every use. :o)

Good, but not awesome.

I've always used a cake eyeliner with a cake eyeliner sealer. This works well for mixing with eyeliners, eye shadows and glitter, but it's not really much different from Ben Nye or Napoleon Perdis cake eyeliner sealer. It dries well, but not super fast so you do have a bit of playtime to ensure a smooth line/application. The water resistant is the real winner!

AMAZING blended into my foundation

I love to mix a couple of drops of this in with my foundation on a palette before application. I wear a matt foundation, but by adding a drop or two of this to the foundation, it stays matt, but has a beautiful luminosity. Luminous foundations get too shiny on me, but this is such a great way to achieve the luminosity, yet stay matt. Love it! :o)

Sharp point, but blends out well.

I have softly tattooed brows and when I have a full face of makeup on they look a little light. This pencil has a sharp point which I can use to line the bottom of my brows, but it's soft enough to blend up to give a lovely ombre brow look. I will continue to use (and love) this pencil. :o)
