Enjoying This Bargain Retinol

This Retinol is a steal at $8! I love that they also included Bakuchiol in this cream. Feels hydrating and not drying, and very happy that they also included some soothing ingredients. No fragrance makes this a good option for sensitive skin. Gentle enough for retinol newbies. Love This Toner!

I always have trouble finding a good toner. So many of them have lots of alcohol or extreme fragrances. After several weeks of experimenting with other toners, I saw that Good Molecules had just released this toner. Good Molecules did an awesome job on this toner- and it actually contains several ingredients that will help brighten skin- I can already notice a difference. A lovely light textured oil!

The Daily Vitamin Infusion is more of a light oil as opposed to a serum or gel texture. I wasn't very surprised by this given the several oils that are in the ingredients list. Adding the Daily Vitamin Infusion has really helped boost hydration in my skin, especially during this long, cold, snowy winter weather. I love adding this into my evening routine. Some days when my skin is drier than normal I will even "pat" in a few drops to hydrate my skin instantly. This is a little pricey, and you can probably find a similar oil for a lower price. Light, Plumping, Hydrating!

The Super Peptide Serum is very very light. When you apply a few drops to clean, dry skin the serum absorbs almost instantly. I love that the serum soaks in so fast, and it also tends to play well with any other products you apply after it. No pilling issues that many other light serums have. After application of the Super Peptide Serum I can say that my skin looks visibly more hydrated and plump. What I liked most about the Super Peptide Serum is that I was able to add this into my skincare routine without having to change anything. I added this right in without removing any other products I currently use. I also love the the Good Molecules brand is affordable, low on fragrance, well-packaged, and cruelty free. A Winner on Puffy Eye Days!

I was very excited to find the new Good Molecules Wake Up Eye Serum in my Beautylish Lucky Bag. It was nice to get to try a product from the new brand that I'd been wanting to try. The Wake Up Eye Serum does a good job at reducing puffiness under eyes. I only apply this under my eyes because I found it doesn't do too much around the orbital bone area. Using this on an as needed basis for me was key. At first when I used this four days in a row I found that it's too drying for my dry skin. Instead using it on days when my eyes are especially puffy was the best use off this product for me. I love that this is well packaged, fragrance free, affordable, and cruelty-free (I email Beautylish to confirm)! Great Moisturizer for Dry Sensitive Skin!

In short, I really like the BIODERMA Sensibio Light Cream. The Sensibio line from Bioderma was developed for people with sensitive skin. The formula for the Sensibio Light Cream is good for those with sensitive skin. I love that this line is fragrance free. The Sensibio Light Cream is best for those with normal-oily skin. If you have dry skin, starting with a more emollient serum, and/ or following with a thicker moisturizer is the best way to use this cream.

The packaging is also simple and effective at protecting the beneficial ingredients from exposure to air and light. If you have any special skin care concerns, such as anti-aging, hyperpigmentation, or acne prevention I recommend using the Sensibio Light Cream in conjuction with specific treatments. I use this with Differin and/ or Retinol in my evening routine. For my daytime routine I like using this after my Vitamin C serum and before foundation. If you are interested my more detailed review can be seen here: https://youtu.be/jNPyni3NkZY

Decent Hydrating Serum

The Bioderma Hydrobio Serum is one that I'd been meaning to try for quite a while, especially since I'm already on my second bottle of it. I've found the Bioderma brand to have decent products but nothing overly wow-ing. I found the Bioderma Hydrabio Serum to be the about the same. This does a decent job hydrating my skin, but this also caused a few blackheads. This also has a bit of fragrance in it which does dissipate quickly. This is hydrating but not too much that those with oily skin wouldn't appreciate the texture. I like to layer this under a thicker moisturizer and/or sleeping mask. This layered okay with most of them although the sleeping masks that had a gel texture to them tended to pill a bit unless you pat this on top of the Bioderma Hydrabio Serum. If you don't have specific anti-aging, texture, or hyperpigmentation concerns this is a decent all around hydrating serum. If you do have skin concerns I'd recommend going with something that contains more antioxidants and beneficial ingredients. Dry skin takes some effort for smooth application

First of all, be warned if you have dry skin, this foundation really works best for those with oilier skin. Secondly, as many have said before, this is a very full coverage foundation. A pea size amount of this foundation is all you will need to cover your entire face. Starting out with a small amount, working in sections, and moisturizing your skin before applying will all help. I found that applying this with a brush ended up highlighting dry areas. I ended up figuring out that applying this with a lightly damp beauty blender or makeup sponge was the way to go. The best way to use the foundation was by dabbing it on with little "bounces" one area at a time was the only way I could apply this without accentuating dry areas. I do like that this is fragrance free, but I found this to be a very fussy foundation. Full of Beneficial Ingredients & Affordable

The new Buffet + Copper Peptides 1% is a new spin on the original formula of The Ordinary's Buffet for those looking to add some additional peptides into your skincare routine. I was taken aback initially by the vibrant blue color this serum has, but it is a nice shade so I'll take it. The texture is the same as the original Buffet and the ingredients are the same with the exception of the addition of these added Copper Peptides. There is promising research showing that these peptides are very similar to the ones we produce so they are supposed to be extremely firming and good for anti-aging regimens. The cost of this new Buffet is about double the original so you have to make the decision if you want to spend the higher amount just for these Copper Peptides. It also depends how fast you go through a bottle and what your anti-aging needs are. I will purchase this again because I really like the formula, and the fact that it is fragrance free makes me enjoy using it even more. Love this strong yet gentle serum

Always being on the lookout for great AHA/BHA serums, I jumped at the first chance to buy the new FARMACY Beauty Honeymoon Glow AHA Resurfacing Night Serum w/ Echinacea GreenEnvy. In general I really tend to enjoy Farmacy Beauty products with the exception of one of their cleansers and mist. When I used the FARMACY Honeymoon Glow AHA Resurfacing Night Serum for the first time I was impressed with the amount of tingling since most exfoliators aren't strong enough to give me that sensation any longer. The tingles lasts about five minutes and once this absorbed I applied my normal evening moisturizer mask to lock in all the products I use before bed. This absorbed very easily and also layered quite well with other products (no pilling or sliding off). One or two pumps is more than enough, but if you aren't used to using AHA's or chemical exfoliators on a regular basis I recommend mixing this with a small amount of moisturizer or serum so that you don't over do it. I also recommend rotating it every three days to start out with and work your way out. In the morning after cleansing I will say that my skin looked healthier and clearer than it had in a long time. Now for the one downside, the Honeymoon Glow AHA Resurfacing Night Serum does contain a few fragrance ingredients, which I am not a fan of. Thankfully the scent is so light that it dissipates almost immediately. Farmacy has also added many beneficial ingredients to this formula which is nice to read. Just be sure to start out slow and steady because the last thing skin needs is too much exfoliation. I also highly recommend using a moisturizer after this serum to keep skin hydrated.
