Beautiful brush
I bought this brush fully intending to use it for highlight, but then read reviews saying it was a little too big for that purpose.
When my order came, I found that it made even my most subtle highlighters show up brighter than with any of my other brushes (natural and synthetic) and I am really enjoying it.
Also, who doesn't love a multi-tasker? Love it for powder and blush as well
I am really enjoying this brush for applying hard pan blush or blushes that are not as pigmented. For example, I was having issues with Charlotte Tilbury First Love showing on my light medium (MAC NC30) skin. This brush has solved that issue. It is a very soft brush but the cut of the hairs give it a slight density that helps with the hard to apply powder products. As always Beautylish is a pleasure to purchase from. Fast shipping and excellent customer service.
I actually use this for bronzer
I know this is for blush but I actually really like this for bronzer. I want a lighter application as I use the Marc Jacobs tan-tastic or my ABH bronzers Tawny or Rosewood. I just think that I this helps me from not getting too heavy handed. I love the longer handle than my Hakuhodo brushes. The hairs are so soft to the touch and I don't feel that I'm scratching my face when applying powder. It's beautiful and surprised no shedding as of the high end brushes such as my Wayne Goss #11 & #12 brushes have been shedding. It gives it a nice dusting and also I'm able to buff if I need to but it's not dense so you're not going to be able to do hardcore buffing with this brush by any means.
Perfect
I have had this brush for a few years and its just a great brush, its nothing special for highlight but just a beautiful bronzer/blush/powder brush. I like that this brush just blends it all in pretty seamlessly. I like this so much I got a second. The only complaint I have is that my first one chipped away a bit at the tip of the handle and exposed wood so a bit disappointing but doesn't take away from the job it does.
LOVE THIS BRUSH!!
This brush is the PERFECT BLUSH brush--it's now my favorite (of all my collection) 4 blush application. Also love it for powdering or touch ups on the T-zone. It's a goat/squirrel mix & the goat offers the perfect 'grab' 4 picking up, applying & blending powder products while the squirrel hair helps it 2 maintain its softness. I admit I don't care 2 use it 4 highlight -as its name suggests- b/c it's 2 big 4 that. LOVE this brush far more than I ever expected! If ur looking 4 an amazing blush brush--get this one!!
Soft, elegant and versatile
This is a beautiful brush and the handle design fits in hand very well. I love the versatility of this brush. I use it for blush, bronzer, contour as well as powder. It works pretty much with all powder products. So if you want to invest in only one brush, this one certainly does the job. The size of the tip is not too perfect for contouring, but it works very fine if you built up the intensity slowly. I have very oily skin. Therefore, I personally prefer this brush over the Z series (squirrel hair is very delicate, better for sensitive skin). It covers my pores smoothly and beautifully. And on top of that, it feels soft on the skin. I have decided to buy more Chikuhodo brushes because of this one. It is definitely a good investment for makeup lovers.
