Beauty Product Reviews

I wanted a powder that would go on lightly, and not look too matte or powdery. Being so pale I get a vampire/dead look if I'm too matte.

This is my go to powder that I usually brush on to top off my foundation. I'll even dab it on bare skin with a damp sponge on good skin days for just a bit of coverage to have a more finished look.

I've tried several loose mineral type powders and Palladio's rice powder, which are okay but still felt to powdery and didn't help the saying power of my foundation.

I've got my eye on Nars light reflecting powder to try, but if it doesn't work out I'll be back to my trusty skinfinish natural.

my summer foundation

Love this foundation, especially in the summer. Give me a dewy look that holds up to humidity. Best applied with fingers imo, though I've used buffing brush and beauty blender as well. The brush gave me streaky results, but that could just be my lack of skill, lol.

I like my foundation to go on quick and easy, this does that and looks great too. I've tried bb creams, and just like Face and Body more.

love

I look for concealer that hides my dark circles without making my combo/dry skin look crepe-y (lol). This does a great job; it blends seamlessly with my skin and stays put even in humidity.

Little goes a long way

I LOVE this concealer. It completely hides my blemishes, and does an amazing job on my dark circles. When I first got it I was a little heavy handed on especially on my dark circles and it ended up cakey, but then I got the hang of how very little product you need to apply. I just dab it on with a concealer brush and blend it in with my ring finger, or a damp cosmetic sponge and my skin looks great.

With the summertime heat I've just been applying this strategically with Fyrinnae's Fluff over it and it's lasted through sweating at concerts and swimming with my kids, yay.
