ADORE!

I got the 01 lipstick today and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. It's so pigmented and creamy, it goes on smoothly and smells of vanilla! It moisturises my lips like my normal Nivea lip balm does and I always get compliments when wearing it:D I want the full set now!

It's okay..

After having read the reviews I went onto eBay to find a cheaper one (couldn't find them anywhere in the UK and even if I did, I wasn't willing to spend 12 pounds on a sponge). I eventually found an eBay seller who would negotiate down to 5 pounds (SasiCosmetics) and I brought one. I was so excited for it to come, as it had been raved over by so many people! But, it's just a sponge. I googled how to properly use them and asked my cosmetology-and-trained-beautician cousin on how to use it. After following instructions which she drummed into me, it was still just a sponge. It blended exactly the same as my Poundland (12 pack of near-identical sponges for a pound) sponges did and the same as my BareEscentuals brushes did. My cousin even tried it and didn't like it. It takes a hell of a lot of washing and still looked really dirty:| Overall, I didn't like it and thought it a waste of money.

They're okay...

After reading the wide range of mixed reviews on here, I decided to give them a whirl. They aren't great, but they aren't terrible. I tried the mint, the blueberry and the strawberry one. They hydrated my lips slightly, but not as much as Palmers, Vaseline or Burt's Bees would; however, they are good to apply before lipstick or gloss because they fill your lips, having said this they do make your lips feel cakey and heavy. I'm a complete sucker for packaging, but after having spent ?15 on seemingly 3 pieces of egg-shaped plastic with a mediocre lipbalm inside, I was slightly disappointed. Once these run out, I won't buy them again, as they were overpriced and not really that good. I'd recommend Palmer's Cocoa Butter or Burt's Bees lipbalm as a cheaper and better alternative.

Love! Love! Love!

Whilst on holiday in Spain in August, I got horribly chapped lips which bled due to the chlorine and heat overdose (being British, I'm not used to 40 degree C climates!). I brought this lip balm with me after hearing good reviews about it, and I'm so glad I did! After 2 days of use, my lips were back to normal :D so happy with it, and will buy again and again!
