How do you get the velvetines to be smooth on your lips and not cakey and in to the cracks of your lips?

Nothing special really, but I take care of my lips, I exfoliate regularly and always use lip balm (if I'm not wearing lipstick). But you can try to use MAC prep + prime lip underneath if you feel like they look cakey. The mac lip primer will make the application smoother, make it last longer, make it stay in place and moisturise your lips!
