Please do note that the one you get from duty free is different from the ones you get at MAC counters in the states. The ones at the counter are only PA++ compared to the duty free which is PA+++ in sun protection.

3 for the price of 1

I have decided to finally do an in depth review on the Physicians Formula Gel Cream Liner since I have had it for a couple months now and really had the chance in testing it out and give a review that won't change in the future. First off, this is a great deal for the price. You get 3 liners for the price of 1! You get such variety without splurging a bunch of money on three different color liners.

Description: Three custom shades provide a glamorous look to define and enhance your eye color. Unique gel cream formula glides-on effortlessly and smoothly while providing the definition of a liquid eyeliner. Long-wearing, water-resistant and smudge-resistant formula provides 24-Hour definition. Includes Pro-Eyeliner Brush for effortless and precise application. Stackable eyeliner pots can be pulled apart for individual use on-the-go. Hypoallergenic. Dermatologist Approved. Fragrance Free. Paraben Free. Safe for Sensitive Eyes and Contact Lens Wearers.

The packaging is also very clever and space efficient. The three pots can be stacked up and taken apart into three separate items. Unlike some products that stack and share lids (enabling you to travel with one of the products individually), these have their own individual lids.

The product... Since I got the brown eyes one, it comes with the color Brown, Black, and Purple.

Brown.. The texture of this is very creamy. It is easily applied and just glides on like a dream. Depending on how much product you picked up off your brush determines the opacity of the liner. This goes to pretty much all three. If you don't get enough product on the brush, the colors are quite sheer meaning you have to go over it again to build up the intensity.

Purple... Purple and brown are pretty much the same. With the exception that purple is even more sheer than brown when not enough product is picked up. Every time I use the purple I tend to have to go over it again the second time. This can be quite annoying sometimes especially when you are in a rush to get out the door.

Black... I have mentioned this before in my favorites post I think.. but the black is the only one with a thicker and dry-er consistency compare to the other two. My conclusion is probably because the black has purple specks of glitter in it. At first, the dry-ness of the black was still bearable but now after 3 months, its getting kind of a pain to pick up the product and apply. It has gotten almost chunky. I'm not saying that you can't use it anymore but it just takes a bit more effort to work with. I'm starting to think maybe its just mine that was defective? If anyone has tried this out, let me know how your black was or if you have the similar problem.

The lasting power of these gel liners great. I don't have the problem of it transferring up to my crease (most of the time). Overall it holds up quite well, a good 8-10hrs before slight transfer I would say. I have noticed that the color tends to fade throughout the day though which I'm not sure if its because my eyeshadow is washing it out throughout the day or whatnot. Overall... I would definitely recommend this product.

I received this as a sample with a purchase of other clinique products. To be quite honest, I actually only wanted the makeup pouch it came with xD I haven't had much luck with clinique products. Many that I've tried has never really impressed me. Maybe its just that I haven't been trying the right one?

Clinique Even Better moisturizer skin tone correcting moisturizer SPF20 For a sample size this had quite a lot of product in it. I was using this during the weekends only when I came home because I didn't want to be hauling around my full size daily moisturizer with me. The idea that this was "Skin tone correcting" really interested me because my face has acne scar and has redness around the nose and cheeks area. I haven't used this consistent enough to see the results so I can't say if it works or not. This is a cream consistency that blends out quite easily. On my skin, it takes awhile for the product to sink in so it is a little sticky which I am not a fan of. It gets a bit oily throughout the day as well on the T-zone (I have combination skin). This product is not scented but it does have the sunscreen smell. Which I'm not a fan of either.

Overall... I just did not enjoy this product from the consistency to smell and to the feel of it. I have used this for over a month before deciding that its not working so I have given it quite enough time to test this out. I know other people do enjoy it, but for me it was a miss. For the same type of product I enjoy my Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Protective Emulsion a lot more.

Smells DELISH

After smelling it at the Lush store and thinking that it was A-OK i brought a chunk of it home. What really intrigued me in getting this was the honey comb that was on the soap. I thought WOW! I can exfoliate on one end and soap on the other. It wasn't until I came home and used it that i fell in LOVE with the smell. This just smells.... SOOO honey and good. I haven't tried many lush product, probably around 5 but by far this is my FAV from them.

Wish I could

Other than my Mac studio sculpt concealer, I haven't found one that can cover up my extremely bad dark circles.. but this maybelline mineral concealer really does the job! I LOVE the coverage on this.. it is one of the best concealers i've tried so far. The only down side is my skin isn't a big fan of this. I can use this once in awhile but never a couple consecutive days. Using it once or twice a day a week is fine but when I start using it on a daily basis, my skin will start breaking out into tiny bumps. which is why I docked out 1.5 stars.

I would definitely recommend this to people and try it out. It really is a great product.

It took me awhile to actually fall in love with this mascara. I personally like more of a dry formula and not too wet/ clumpy mascaras. After opening it and trying it out for the first couple of times i really didn't like it. (but then again thats with a lot of mascaras for me>.<) I put it back in my drawers and take it out every once in awhile to re test it cause I was determined to like it. Finally one day, after it has dried out a little bit and not as wet.. I LOVE IT! gives my lashes just the right amount of length and volume. This is truly waterproof. My go to mascara during the summer time because I KNOW that this won't be smudging throughout the day. Only downside is that it is a bit hard to remove. Takes a little extra time compared to others. That just only means that its really not going to budge!

LOVe

I absolutely LOOOOVEEE these! I use these everyday as eye primers! Yes, I know. Some people say that these aren't exactly primers but personally for me, this is the best "primer" i've used. The only thing that can keep my eyeshadow looking the same after 12 hours. I have tried UDPP and that just doesnt hold my eyeshadow as well as paint pots does. Plus, I can wear this alone on a lazy day and throw on some eyeliner then BAM im done with my eyes. I recommend barestudy to anyone and everyone! haha Its such a gorgeous color! I pretty much use this on any neutral eye and it looks gorgeous. Doesn't change the color of the shadow what so ever.

After hearing so many great review and stuff on these I decided to some up last year at IMATS.. thinking that they can have the same lasting power as other cream bases.. boy was I wrong. I have extremely oily eyelids and these just creased on me like no other. I guess thats what I get for not wearing it without primer. When I blended it out, it lost opacity really easily. I kept having to add more and more trying to get some color to show. I'm not sure if its just me using it wrong.. or what because i'm sure this is a great product when used right since so many people are a fan of it. But for me personally I would just stick with cream eyeshadows like paint pots and estee lauder ones.
