Perfect medium coverage concealer

As someone who doesn't need or want a full coverage concealer, I've spent years looking for the perfect medium coverage concealer: something hydrating but long-wearing that doesn't require a setting powder (I personally don't use powder on a daily basis).

In the past, my search had led me to concealers that didn't offer true medium coverage and were wither too drying or had too much slip. When I first tried this, I was impressed by the coverage that still looked like real skin AND that it stayed put throughout an 8-hour workday! It also didn't dry into fine lines and make me instantly look 5 years older, which is a common issue with concealers.

Aside from the great performance, the packaging is super portable and the shade selection is pretty great. I'm an NC25-27 and use Shade 2 for under eye and Shade 3 for foundation touch ups. Oh that's another thing! This concealer layers extremely well over other products.

If you're looking for a great medium coverage concealer, definitely give The Retoucher a shot!

Baby soft skin in 20 minutes!

I can't believe I took so long to try this! I'd been on the market for a great moisturizing mask for a while, and most just didn't seem to cut it, mostly because I wanted something that also had great skincare benefits.

When I finally got around to trying this after having it at the office for a while, I immediately knew I found the one! It's not only incredibly hydrating, but the combination of antibacterial and soothing ingredients really pamper the skin.

As someone with sensitive combination skin, I find this soothes any redness I may be experiencing and normalizes my oily/dry areas. It also smells absolutely amazing which is a nice bonus!

If you've been curious about trying this, stop what you're doing and get it! You won't be disappointed.

YES YES YES!

I will never use another brush for creamier foundations! I know the GSN-5 is marketed as a liquid foundation brush (personally I prefer the GSN-2 for that purpose), but this works so well with cream formulas; think the KGD Moisture Foundation, rms un cover-up, and RCMA foundation.

It's dense so it blends out creams effortlessly without leaving streaks, and the smaller brush head is great for precision application. You really can't go wrong with the GSN series!

Great everyday base!

I wasn't sure how the rms "un" cover-up would work on my combination skin, but I'm so glad I gave it a shot! This definitely isn't your full coverage concealer, but it isn't trying to be either, and the trade-off is that it looks super natural and is wonderfully hydrating.

I use this as both a foundation and concealer, and I haven't had any issues with it causing any sort of reaction on my sensitive skin. I also appreciate that the shades tend to run neutral, making them easier to match.

Great for liquid foundations

I know the GSN-2 is marketed as powder brush, but it does a fantastic job with liquid foundations as well! The dense brush head buffs foundation right into the skin without soaking up too much product or leaving streaks, plus the softness makes it super gentle.

Convenient little product!

I'm not going to lie, I was ready to not like the Mini Miracle Eye Wand, but it actually lives up to its claims! Aside from the convenient travel-friendly packaging, both the eye cream and corrector are well-formulated. The eye cream is hydrating without being greasy, making it great for under makeup; and the corrector brightens up under eye darkness, blending beautifully into the skin, not leaving behind any obvious lines of demarcation.

People with super dark under eye circles may need to use a concealer on top, but I find it works fine for me with just my foundation blended over everything.

Great everyday foundation

I tend to gravitate towards light-to-medium coverage "your skin but better" base products for everyday wear, and Charlotte's Light Wonder does not disappoint! That being said, the coverage is very light so this is not for those looking for a true medium coverage. I have sensitive/combination skin and was originally a little worried about the formula being too emollient, but I'm happy to say it does not make my t-zone look greasy or cause any reactions on my skin.

I'm an NC 25 in MAC terminology with a neutral olive skin tone. Shade 6 is that perfect medium beige color that evens out any redness and does not make me look too yellow, orange or ashy.

Overall, I've been really enjoying this foundation!

It's no secret I'm a huge fan of face oils, but there's something about the RMS Beauty Oil that I can't get enough of! I've been using it every morning since receiving it and it has honestly made my makeup go on so much smoother. I still use an even more hydrating oil at night, but for daytime my go-to is this. I have sensitive/combination skin and find that 4 drops is perfect for my entire face and neck. I can't wait to try the Coconut Cream next!

Photoshop in a compact

I've never been a fan of setting my face with powder; I always felt it diminished the finish of the types of foundations I like using (radiant and luminous), and I typically felt my complexion looked smoother without them... Not anymore!

The Charlotte Tilbury Air Brush Flawless Finish is exactly as it claims! It's extremely finely milled and perfecting without leaving a powdery or matte finish. Despite not being matte, I find it keeps my t-zone from getting excessively shiny throughout the day. The shades are also very sheer and forgiving, so finding a match shouldn't be an issue for most people.

Perfect Color Correcting Primer

I've tried a few yellow color correcting primers in the past, with hopes that they would even out the redness in my neutral/olive skin AND provide a smooth canvas for my foundation. In my experience, most either didn't perform on the priming front, or were so yellow they made me look sickly. Finally I tried the Koh Gen Do Color Base!

I have yet to try the full range, but the yellow primer really reduces the redness on my cheeks and keeps my makeup looking great all day! I've also had no reaction on my sensitive skin, which is always important!
