The Tom Ford Beauty Lips & Boys collection causes a stir each holiday season and for good reason: both the impeccable shade range and the quality of Mr. Ford's stunning lipstick formulas make these a must-have each year! There's definitely something for everyone within the range.

These purse-sized lipsticks have a well-deserved cult following, in my opinion, and I look forward to adding 2-3 to my collection each holiday season! My current favorites include: Bradley (satin), Cristiano (matte), Graham (shimmer), and Snowdon (shimmer).

Endless Summer in a Bottle.

Soleil Blanc truly is unexpected! This warm oriental floral encapsulates every aspect of a perfect summer getaway: a delicious blend of Coco de Mer and Pistachio accords add a creamy gourmand quality that is perfectly balanced by spicy Cardamom and Pink Pepper. Bergamot and Ylang Ylang round out the fragrance with fresh and floral qualities, along with a very subtle saltiness that brings a beachy sensuality to the entire experience.

If you're looking for a fragrance that makes you feel as if stepped on to your own private island, I highly recommend looking into Mr. Ford's Soleil Blanc.

P.S. The flacon is absolutely stunning!

The Standard for Highlighting your features

Tom Ford Beauty's Skin Illuminating Powder Duo is one of those products that's not only visually stunning, but performs as a luxury makeup product should. It goes without saying that Mr. Ford's formulas are absolutely exquisite, and these powders in particular have a gorgeous gel-powder formula that illuminate your features with a multidimensional glow.

The gorgeous mahogany colored compact with gold accents holds an iridescent soft white gold highlight and shimmering bronzed rose gold highlighter, reminiscent of Estée Lauder's famous Modern Mercury. The rose gold is definitely the more intense highlight of the two, but I love that you can layer and mix the two shades together to create varied intensities each application. I personally use the white gold as a base highlight and in areas where I don't want too much shimmer, such as the bridge of the nose and brow bone; I then top off my cheekbones and temples with the rose gold to add a healthy glow.

While there are many beautiful highlighters on the market, in fact I would say it's a product area that has become a bit oversaturated, this stands as one of the most ethereal and versatile highlighting products I have encountered.

Also, I should mention that this contains an astounding 12 grams of product, which will last quite some time!

Everything about this liquid highlighter is ethereal: the texture, shades, packaging, longevity, and ease of application are all absolutely superb. I purchased the shade Spin Spin Sugar, which is ideal for fair to medium skin tones, and I could not be more impressed!

My main issue with many liquid highlighters I've tried in the past are that they're either too fluid and can be quite messy to use, making application less precise than I normally like, or they don't play well with the rest of your makeup.

Mr. Ford's Shimmer Shots have a gorgeous gel-cream like texture that meshes beautifully with your foundation, whether you mix them together or use this on top. There's enough glow for these to be used on their own for a more subtle look, but understated enough that you can use them as a base for your powder highlighters.

Opulent foundation application.

Let me begin by saying that I've tried several hyped about luxury foundation brushes; I'm a man obsessed! I initially put off purchasing the Tom Ford Beauty Cream Foundation Brush due to the price, but I'm glad that I decided to give it a chance.

The brush is made of the highest quality white goat hair, possibly the softest I've ever used, and has the perfect density so as to not soak up any excess product or leave any brush strokes. The handle is nicely weighted and the shape allows for excellent precision. I personally love this with all my liquid and cream foundations, but have heard that it works wonderfully with powder formulas as well. A must-have in my collection!

Side note: the Chikuhodo GSN-5 is similar in shape and works very well at a lower price point, but is definitely not as soft or dense.

Stunning pigment. Unparalleled formulas.

I don't know what otherworldly magic Mr. Ford has included in his eyeshadow formulas, but the combination of high pigment, superb blendability, opulent finishes, and impeccable wear time set these in a league of their own. Still have your doubts? There are countless reviews that attest to their high quality, which is why these Eye Quads have become such cult favorites!

My personal favorites are Nude Dip and Honeymoon, which feature a wet-dry formula. These may be used dry for a softer finish or with a dampened brush to create bolder, more intense looks.

I would also like to note that the sheer sparkle shadows, which have the appearance of a pressed shimmer pigment, are meant to be used as a topper with your finger to provide a sophisticated and wearable wet runway look to the lids.

Luxe, Impeccably Soft, and Efficient

While the large size of this brush may deter you at first, I have yet to find another bronzer brush that disperses product so quickly and evenly, without looking heavy or unnatural! I find picking up product with the edge of the brush works best, then sweeping in a 3-like motion, hitting the temples, cheekbones, and jawline.

This is certainly an investment but well worth it if you have yet to find that perfect bronzer brush. Mr. Ford truly set the standard for luxury makeup tools with his Japanese handcrafted brushes.

Sisley's Confort Extrême Nutritive Lip Balm in a convenient lip twist

If you've seen my review of the Confort Extrême Nutritive Lip Balm, you know that I LOVE that product! In fact, it's still my favorite lip balm and despite daily use, I still have more than half the tub left.

That being said, I was left wanting a travel-friendly version for daytime use, as all my other lip balms paled in comparison. Much to my delight, Sisley decided to release it in their Lip Twist range! It's just as comforting and nourishing as the tub version, so I barely need to reapply throughout the day. I'll definitely be repurchasing once I'm running low!

Perfect for brush storage!

I had been looking for something to store my non-essential brushes for a while, as I find brush rolls can often alter the shape of the bristles, so I was ecstatic when I saw Vueset's Bananaman.

After hearing my fellow Beauty Advisor Katja rave about Vueset, I purchased 2 immediately and couldn't be happier! They're sturdy, compact, stackable, and don't squish brushes like brush rolls do.

Overall, if you're looking for a convenient way to store your brushes while keeping them pristine, I highly recommend purchasing a few of these!

I LOVE this brush

Okay so I have to admit, this is essentially just a fancy spoolie... But you know what? I love it anyway! In fact, I already have three of them! I keep one at home, one in my makeup bag, and one for my partner.

I've used spoolies to groom my eyebrows and eyelashes for years, but always found the disposable ones a bit gross and lacking in terms of quality. With Brush 23, I know it will last a lifetime and that I can wash it properly for sanitary reasons. Is it a necessity? Most people will probably tell you that it's not, but I personally can't live without it!
