The search is finally over...

I've found my perfect concealer! I've tried so many in the past and have always been left either disappointed, underwhelmed, or wishing for more.

Concealer is one of those products that's so subjective, especially in regards to concealing the under eye area. Personally, I've always found most concealers either too heavy or too sheer, too drying or too emollient, or too thick in texture, making them difficult to blend out. Shade selections are also typically disappointing. I'm happy to say I finally found the one for me!

My friend Seth (Seth Barton-Roberts on YouTube) raved about Sisley's Phyto-Cernes Eclat Eye Concealer in one of his videos, and I knew I had to try it! Shade 2 is perfect for counteracting dark circles on light to tan skin tones, and the texture is somewhere between a cream and gel, so it blends seamlessly into the skin. I also find it wears surprisingly well without powder; it looks just as amazing around 6pm when I get home from work as it did at 7 in the morning.

If you're looking for a concealer that will counteract darkness, won't crease or emphasize fine lines, will wear well, and won't dry out the under eye area, then I highly recommend checking this out! Also, while it is quite expensive, you don't need more than a pin-sized amount for each eye; and with 15ml of product, you won't runout anytime soon!

A must for dehydrated lips!

I'm completely addicted to lip balm... There, I said it. I refuse to go to bed or leave the house without a generous layer of balm on my lips, and I like to think that my lips thank me for it. I've tried so many throughout the years that I've acquired quite the collection, but that doesn't stop me from trying new ones!

What I absolutely love about the Confort Extrême Nutritive Lip Balm, and what sets it apart from other balms, is the beautiful gel-like texture. It just leaves the most cushiony barrier on the lips, one that stays on until morning so that it actually feels as if it's nourishing your lips all night long. And best of all, you don't need to use much at all!

I know $74 for a lip balm might seem a bit extreme, but when a product works this well and truly stands out from the rest, it's worth every single penny!

Perfect summer fragrance!

I love a citrusy fragrance for everyday wear, but often find many to be either too sweet, soapy, or bitter. Out of complete curiosity, I decide to try Sisley's Eau de Sisley N°3 in the office, and I'm so glad I did!

At first I was a bit taken aback by the immediate burst of ginger, but then the sweet and bitter citrus notes come in and round out the ginger in a very complimentary away; it's definitely one of the more interesting citrusy fragrances I've tried! Needless to say, I've since purchased a bottle for personal use.

The last thing I'd like to point out about Eau de Sisley N°3 is the sillage; it remains close to the skin and doesn't travel too much like many other fragrances can, so it's perfect for the office! There's nothing worse than an overly obnoxious fragrance in an office-setting, so despite the $100 price tag, I'm able to wear this everyday without bothering my colleagues. Perfection!

Stunning!

I have a confession to make: I'm a total bronzer junkie! Being latino, I've always wanted that beautifully bronzed JLo skin, but unfortunately I've always been on the paler side... I refuse to tan outdoors since I'm terrified of sun damage and false tanning seems like too much of a hassle, so bronzer has been my solution!

Over the years, I've collected quite a collection of bronzers and have several favorites: Tom Ford Terra and Gold Dust, Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow, NARS Laguna, and Hourglass Luminous Bronze Light to name a few. Overall, I definitely prefer a glowy bronzer, Terra being the one exception.

Being such a bronzer aficionado, I thought I had seen it all, but Sisley's Illusion d'Eté is by far the most captivating bronzer I own! It's that perfect neutral yet bronzy shade that will work on a wide range of skin tones, with a beautiful subtle shimmer that makes you look lit from within. The texture is also otherworldly; it's smooth like a gel or cream but has the staying power of a powder, it's also completely invisible on the skin and won't emphasize any texture issues. Overall, I've been completely obsessed since I purchased it!

Based on my experience with this bronzer, it will add a nice subtle warmth to fair to medium skin tones (MAC NC10-NC30). I also think it will work as a subtle cheek color/highlight on tan to deep skin tones since it has very tasteful multi-dimensional shimmer.

A must-have for combination skin.

I've always been a fan of toners and have used many in the past that I would still recommend. However, this is the one toner that has actually produced a significant difference with consistent use!

The combination of the skin-repairing Glycerin, emollient Castor Oil, anti-irritant Allantoin, and mildly exfoliating Lactic and Salicylic Acids, makes this so much than just skincare prep; it's a powerhouse treatment as well.

It's one of the priciest toners I've tried at $85, but I can't see myself replacing it with anything else!

Other liquid illuminators pale in comparison...

It's no secret that I love glowing skin and the products that help to achieve it. I've tried and own so many highlighters that getting ready can prove to be a daunting task. That being said, I've never used a liquid highlighter as beautiful as the Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Aqua Foundation Illuminator!

My main gripe with most liquid illuminators is the lack of versatility in terms of how much glow they impart; some are either super intense right off the bat, while others are so subtle that layering accomplishes nothing. I find that with KGD's, I can use just a bit to give a very natural luminous glow, or build it up to an almost metallic sheen. I also find Sheer Beige to be such a complimentary highlight on a variety of skin tones, especially those in the Light to Tan spectrum. I could see this working for Deep skin tones as well, but it may be a touch warm for the most Fair.

Another plus, this never turns greasy on my combination skin! All in all, I truly have nothing negative to say about this beautiful product.

Say goodbye to drying makeup remover wipes!

These are by-far the best makeup remover wipes I have ever tried! I'm still a big fan of the RMS Coconut Cream, but the convenience of these makes them everyday essentials.

Side Note: These would be great for long flights when you need something both hydrating and convenient!

Quick & Easy Skincare!

I personally do not use the Koh Gen Do Cleansing Water Cloths for removing makeup (I still prefer the RMS Coconut Wipes for that purpose), but they are my go-to when I don't have the time to properly wash my face!

The inclusion of mildly exfoliating Lactic Acid, antioxidant Arginine, a number of botanical extracts, and glycerin, make these wipes such a treat for the skin. On morning when I need to rush and don't have the time to cleanse and tone, these come in so handy! Just throw on some moisturizer with SPF and you're out the door.

By Terry does it again!

It had taken me a while to get into By Terry's products, but her base formulas are absolutely beautiful and lightweight. However, I was a bit hesitant to try this because I've yet to find a CC cream that wowed me; I love the color correcting claims, but the coverage and texture always throw me off.

Let me just say, I'm so glad I gave this a chance! The coverage is definitely on the lighter side but can be built up to about medium, and it's the most weightless base product I've ver tried; it truly feels like having nothing on. I also love that it's packed with skincare ingredients, and the signature By Terry rose scent hasn't irritated my sensitive skin at all.

Great low-maintenance nail polish!

I've always loved the look of nail polish, but there are two things that have always kept me from using it more regularly: what a pain it can be to apply and the eventual ugly chipping. Now, it could be I haven't used the right polishes in the past (my favorite before these were the NARS ones), but I swear this polish has changed everything!

I love the ease of application! Seriously, no streaking and no awkward bubbling. I also love how these wear. Rather than chip, they seem to just fade ever so slightly from the corners, which overall keeps them looking neater than other polishes. RMS seriously did a great job with the formula!

I've only purchased and tested Luminizer and Solar so far, but I definitely plan on getting many more!
